Notice ... The city of Capitola and our home have survived the storms and are up and running well!!

This wonderful home in the quaint seaside town of Capitola will remind you of being in a small village in Italy. Brand new Queen bed in one bedroom and a super comfortable double in the 2nd bedroom. Brand new Murphy bed in the living room sleeps two.

It has a personal boat dock with (2)kayaks and a Paddleboard to use at your leisure. Or you can Kick on the deck and look out onto the beautiful Soquel Creek and observe nature.

Wonder down to the beach and enjoy the surf and the sun.

BBQ on the deck and watch the ducks meander by as you sip a glass of wine from one of the local wineries. Or just relax and read your favorite book in the privacy of your secure deck.

The lush green surroundings are breathtaking. If you feel the desire for shopping or dining out, the downtown and Esplanade are only a two-minute river walk away.

Enjoy the food and entertainment at the world-famous Shadow Brooke Restaurant!

No matter what you choose to do it will all be within walking distance of your front door.

We provide 1 parking spaces in front of the garage, May be extra parking when available.

Great location right along the river. House was cute and quaint; a two-minute walk to the restaurants and beach. Unfortunately the area rug smelled like dog pee & there was dog hair on the couches; but the owner was very responsive and had the cleaning crew come by to assist during our stay. Would definitely come back.

Shops, dining and beach all within a 5 minute walk. Great deck, cute house. Though there is one bathroom it is worth noting that it is Jack and Jill style, one door is in the hallway and the other is through primary bedroom, turning it from questionable to totally doable. We were happily surprised. Though the description says it sleeps six, two beds are double, which they note) so may not work for larger folks.

incredible location. quick walk to the beach and the village. Excellent restaurants. Highly recommend "Shadowbrook" just across the river.We had no idea the annual Wine and Arts festival was happening this weekend. Great time!Overall a great place to stay.

We had peaceful mornings and beautiful nights here. One of our favorites stays in Capitola. We’ve come every year for the past 10 years or so during Labor Day weekend. This home is such a gem! The peaceful river, beautiful surroundings of trees and flowers makes a perfect picture for our early morning coffee and afternoon naps. Walking distance to everything.

The highlight of this property really is the beautiful deck overlooking the creek! Its the perfect, peaceful spot to relax and enjoy nature with hummingbirds, butterflies and ducks on the water. Loved having coffee in the morning and wine in the evening there. Also loved the walkability to everything. No need to get in the car if you don't want to. The dedicated parking space was also a plus. The house was clean and comfortable, and we did appreciate the smart TV. We will definitely return!

As always, we had a wonderful few days at Steve and Lois’s adorable house on the river. We’ve been coming to their home for literally years and it never disappoints. Their home is clean, well equipped and so comfortable. They are wonderful people and always available if we have questions. We’ll be coming back in November for my birthday. This place is a gem.
Lucy isn’t sure what she’s guarding, but she’s killin’ it! She loves the deck!

Steve greet us. The home and deck very save and secure for the young children. The deck was a great place for f dinner and hanging out. The kayaks needed some serious cleaning especially the bottoms. We used the board and paddle and the children enjoyed going up and down the river.

Girl's beach trip!

We loved the location of this property for our annual girls trip. Kayaked on the river, easy walk into town and steps to the beach! Everything we'd hoped for. Beach house is clean and comfortable. Owner was very friendly and accommodating. Will be coming back!

This house is in a perfect location for visiting Capitola. Beautiful beach path to restaurants, pier and beach. The outside deck and view are stunning and the neighborhood is one of a kind. The only thing keeping this from being 5 stars is the kitchen needs to be better stocked and the living room furniture could be more comfortable. I would stay here again.

Tranquil Riverfront Gem

This property located on the Capitola river offers guests two vacation experiences in one. The river view is beautiful, peaceful and best enjoyed relaxing on the deck. The house is charming and comfortable making this a complete vacation all by itself. The beach/Village is a very short walk, and offers a lively, energetic experience with shops, restaurants, warm sand, and clean ocean air. Life is good in Capitola!
