Guest Access:

Bring your own boat, rent one, or we’ll help coordinate a private water taxi directly to our dock. The entire home is yours, with the exception of a small owner storage area on the lower deck. The expansive Gulf beach is just steps away.



The Neighborhood:

North Captiva Island is a private, boat-access island home to just over 350 houses—offering an experience that feels worlds away from the everyday. With miles of unspoiled beaches, world-class shelling, birdwatching, incredible fishing, and a laid-back atmosphere, it’s a place where true relaxation comes naturally.



The island spans only four miles in length and about half a mile at its widest point, yet nearly 50% is protected nature preserve owned by the State of Florida. Guests have access to miles of scenic hiking trails and some of the most secluded, untouched white sand beaches in the state.



Though small, the island offers just the right amount of convenience: a short e-bike ride away you can access three restaurants (two casual, one more upscale), an Island Market for essentials, and an ice cream shop. For a more personalized experience, several excellent private chefs and wonderful boating and fishing charters are available!



With no cars, North Captiva feels like a true escape. It’s a one-of-a-kind destination—unlike any vacation you’ve ever taken, and perfect for making lifelong memories!!



Getting Around:

Enjoy the convenience of two e-bikes, provided exclusively for your use throughout your stay—making it easy to explore the island and take in its stunning surroundings.

• Hot tub use is available on a limited basis due to energy considerations. Please let us know in advance if you’d like to use it, and we’ll be happy to approve based on current energy capacity and anticipated solar availability.

• Beach awareness: a small nearby section of beach is occasionally clothing-optional; it is typically quiet and easy to avoid, but we want families to be aware in advance

• This home is located in the peaceful Foster’s Bay area of North Captiva Island, offering a quiet, nature-forward setting away from the busier north end. This portion of the island is not accessible by golf cart. To make exploring easy, we provide two e-bikes, which are perfect for cruising up island to restaurants, shops, and beach access. It’s about a 10-minute ride by e-bike or a lovely 30-minute walk along the beach. We love this location for its privacy and relaxed vibe — and we think you will too!
