Beach Villa 2418 - Coastal Luxury

New owners have made this already wonderful vacation rental truly spectacular, having all new furniture, flooring, vanities, countertops, cabinets, and much more. Everything is being done top of the line through West Elm and Crate + Barrell, just to name a few. Beach Villa 2418 is a two-bedroom/two-bathroom vacation rental condominium located on the 2nd floor (1st living level) and has a direct view out to the Gulf of Mexico. Our spacious condo offers 1,000 sq ft of space with a very comfortable living area and Smart TV. There is a queen-sized sleeper sofa for additional guests. Off the living room is a dining area and a full kitchen with upgraded appliances and a Keurig Coffee Maker. The master suite has a very nice king-sized bed with an en-suite bathroom, while the guest bedroom features two twin beds. There is an additional full bathroom off the hallway nearby. The screened lanai is off the living room and is perfect to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening cocktail while enjoying the calm Gulf waters and our world-famous sunset. 

The association offers a heated pool, tennis, high-speed wireless internet, and BBQ grills. While you don't receive full resort access as this is a privately managed rental, you will save about 50% compared to resort rates, never pay a resort fee, and get to choose our exact unit. Important Notes

Private Management
This condo is privately managed and not affiliated with the resort. Guests do not have access to resort amenities. A paid laundry facility is available on the ground level.

Beach Gear
Beach chairs and umbrellas are not included. Instead, your stay includes a VayKLife credit for beach essentials such as chairs, umbrellas, coolers, wagons, and more. Delivery is included. On-site availability cannot be guaranteed. Your booking confirmation includes a link to redeem your credit.

Elevator Notice
The building’s elevator is currently operational, but because it is a mechanical system, we cannot guarantee continuous operation. Refunds will not be issued for elevator outages.

Construction & Maintenance
Currently, there are no ongoing repairs or construction within the Resort. Should any occur during your stay, refunds will not be issued for disruptions caused by maintenance or repairs beyond our control.

Storm Impacts
Due to Hurricanes Helene and Milton, access to some amenities may be limited during your stay.

We quite enjoyed the 3 nights we spent in Captiva and the condo was great! it had everything we needed and was exactly as depicted in the photos. The owner/manager was very quick to answer any questions I had and very accommodating to my requests. It was pretty chilly while we were there so we did not spend as much time on the beach as we may have, but enjoyed exploring the island on a golf cart one day and took a ferry to Cabbage Key too. The owner/manager was helpful in helping me find good companies to use for both! For anyone visiting in better weather, the proximity to the beach cannot be beat and the views of the sunset were stunning. I would definitely stay here again given my overall experience, including how responsive the owner/manager was.

My family and I spent Christmas at this condo and overall had a lovely time. Wanted to note a few things: ‱Sometimes pictures on websites will make a property look bigger than it is. Not the case here. In fact, I thought it was more spacious than it appeared in the pictures.‱The entry instructions showed a keypad entry door which was unlocked with the provided code. The instructions did not mention that there was also a deadbolt lock for which a key was needed and said key was in a “realtor” lock box attached to the upper door frame. Luckily my daughter quickly figured out how to get the key, but had I been by myself, I likely would have had to call for assistance. Why not just put all of the needed info in the entry instructions? ‱We received a credit to use for beach gear which we utilized. The beach gear was delivered before we arrived and left on the patio. When we checked out, we left the beach gear on the patio where we found it. A few hours after we’d checked out, I received a text saying that the beach gear wasn’t there. I called, texted and emailed that the gear was left on the patio and asked for confirmation that was it found. I never received it so I’m thinking no news is good news. ‱Customer service was friendly and very responsive.

This beachfront unit is beautiful and comfortable. Easy access to beach, pool and walking distance to local restaurants.Easy check in. Well appointed. Would suggest a dead bolt on the outside door for added security while inside the condo. Also would have appreciated some beach chairs for guest use. We loved it.

This was a beautiful condo on the beach at Captiva. The hosts was excellent at communicating all of the details concerning our stay. The condo kitchen was well stocked, overall the place was very clean, and the beds comfy. I appreciated the attention to details throughout our stay.

The property matched the pictures exactly. The place was very clean and had plenty of space. The view of the beach was very nice, especially for sunset. I would say the while the deck furniture was fine, I would prefer more relaxing/lounge type of future instead of the high top table and chairs. The service they provide for beach rentals had everything we needed, only negative is that they require you to have your items ready for pickup by 6am on the day of your departure, so you cannot use it at all on your last day.

Excellent property surrounded by beautiful beaches and homes. The walk to the beach takes just a minute, and of course there are all the shells you could ask for. The home was clean, all furniture was nicley kept and the kitchen was well appointed for cooking. We were happy to see that Captiva and Sanibel have recovered.

The property is great. The view stunning. I would stay again. The lani screen needs repair and the fan doesn’t work which is a bug issue. If I stayed again I would ask that this be addressed. But it didn’t effect the overall stay!

Captiva at its Best

The property was very well maintained and had everything we needed. There were 5 of us , and there was plenty of room to spread out. We loved the location - right on the beach with views of the sunset from our patio. I would definitely book again.

Perfect relaxing getaway

We had a great time at this condo. Pics are accurate, bed is very comfortable, everything you need in the kitchen and steps away from a beautiful beach. The area is still very much recovering/under construction from recent hurricanes but it didn’t affect our stay. And very convenient to rent beach chairs/umbrella and have them delivered to condo.

A Perfect Beach Vacation

What an amazing stay we had at this vacation home. We had everything we needed including a great view of the beach. It was a short walk to the actual beach and there was a small pool available nearby as well. The laundry facilities were nice and clean, easy to use. The condo rooms were all clean with nice, modern upgrades and decorations. The management team went above and beyond to help us when we accidentally left some items behind. We highly recommend this property and would definitely come again.
