In the heart of Carate Urio, TINY LAKE STUDIO is the ideal starting point for discovering Lake Como while staying in a charming historic residence just a few steps from the lakeshore. Located next to the picturesque Church of Saints Giacomo and Filippo, this cozy studio offers an authentic and relaxing atmosphere.

The apartment consists of a single well-organized space featuring a practical kitchenette, a dining area with a table for two, and a comfortable double bed designed to ensure maximum comfort after a day exploring the lake. Next to the entrance, there is a private bathroom complete with shower.

High-quality bed linen, towels, and a courtesy kit are provided.

You will also find a welcome basket with essentials for your first breakfast.

The apartment does not have private parking.

Guests have full access to the entire property.

The apartment enjoys a privileged location next to the Church of Saints Giacomo and Filippo and the renowned Giardino a Lago venue. Carate Urio overlooks the western shore of the Como branch of Lake Como and still preserves all the charm of the past, with its cobbled alleys, Moltrasio stone stairways, historic waterfront houses, and elegant villas surrounded by greenery. Just a short walk from the apartment, guests will find excellent lakeside restaurants and bistros, perfect for enjoying the village’s relaxed atmosphere. Along the lakeside promenade, just a few minutes away on foot, there is the ferry stop connecting Carate Urio to Como and other charming villages of Lake Como, including Torno, Argegno, and Menaggio. The village also borders the renowned towns of Laglio and Moltrasio and is located only a 10-minute drive from Cernobbio, famous for its elegant waterfront and historic luxury hotels. The city of Como, with all main services, is about a 20-minute drive away. Thanks to its proximity to Switzerland, Carate Urio is also an excellent base for excursions to nearby Canton Ticino: the Chiasso and Pizzamiglio border crossings can be reached in approximately 15 minutes.

How to get there:

By car, from the A9 motorway take the “Lago di Como” exit and continue along Via Regina, entering the SS340 road. With GPS assistance, the property can be reached in approximately 10 minutes.

By train, from Como Lago or Como S. Giovanni station, take bus C125 and get off at the “Carate - Piazza Minoletti” stop, located about 100 meters from the apartment.
