staff was friendly but the room was in poor condition and with the toilet flushing over and over all night. also, when i first tried to open my room, the electronic key card failed and i had to go to the front desk counter again and then it failed to open 2 more times and finally on the 4th attempt it opened! the staff never once offerred to go with me to the room even though i had to walk back 3 times to the counter! i thought that was ridiculous. area around hotel is very nice and mellow with lots of walking peacefully which i relished.

This was a nice stay and close to Legoland without having to pay expensive room prices. There was several good restaurants close by and a grocery right down the road. We loved that the beach was a few blocks away.

It felt like a badly converted Super 8 (or Motel 6). Shower was fine if you were 5 feet tall. And being so close to the highway, you didn't need an alarm to be awaken at 6 AM.

Very small pool and jacuzzi which were totally fine. In fact I had them all to myself. There's not much near the hotel but Encinitas is only a 7-minute Drive which has everything you need.
