Located right in the heart of North Lake Tahoe, this Carnelian Bay vacation condo offers community amenities like a shared pool, hot tub, and tennis courts, as well as an interior with an outdoor deck. It's the perfect Tahoe retreat!

With a location just a couple of blocks from the shore of Lake Tahoe, you can easily spend time at the beach relaxing or boating out on the water! And in winter, you're only 10 miles from Northstar Resort for some of the region's best skiing.

Featuring three charming levels, the apartment features tall, slanted ceilings, a wood stove, comfortable furniture, and entertainment options including a TV and DVD player. You can fix a meal in the full kitchen or make the short walk to the Old Post Office Coffee Shop for a hearty start to your day.

At night, you'll have four bedrooms. Both adults and kids will be pleased here. There's also a washer and dryer for keeping clothes clean.

Snow days!

This is a wonderful weekend getaway only issues I have for the really loud heater and the really hard beds you might want to invest in some mattress toppers but overall it was a good time thank you

No advertised amenities

The condo had a huge crack in the wall. Hot tub, pool and Lodge have been closed for a month with no plans to reopen due to damage. We were not notified before arrival. When we complained he's $60 credit was offered to make up for missing amenities. Loft mattresses were saggy and Loft lighting was damaged. Layout was great and kitchen was well stocked. No wood was left for wood burning stove.

Property was super clean.. Amazing layout with two bedrooms downstairs, one bedroom on the main floor and another bedroom on the third floor(actuallt an attic converted to a bedroom).. Loved it

Easy location. Great layout.

check in was after 4pm on a Friday. No one around to get a parking pass or any sort of run down on how to access hot tub. No one around for the weekend so no after ski hot tub relaxation possible. If we would have known no host tub access we would have booked someplace else. The place is kind of beat up. The table and every chair wobbles like crazy. Seriously. Can almost get seasick trying to eat a meal as the table sways around with any bump of an elbow. One of the shower doors was incredibly hard to move, making it near impossible to not make a mess of water on floor getting in/out and you can tell there's been much water left on the floor with baseboards showing water ingress. Overall the layout was GREAT for our group of 8. The living space is very nice, comfort wise. Just don't expect too much in ways of beauty.

shows you can use the pool but he’s not allowed to go to the pool because they don’t give us the carts and we cannot use the tennis score to they give us the courts to almost 3 o’clock on Sunday it’s not fair

Carnelian bay condo

We checked in and got settled, the couches on the main level needed to be thrown out, they are worn beyond belief. When we tried to watch tv we found that they didn’t have cable so the tv advertised in the amenities is false advertising . They should just remove the TVs and sell them to buy new couches. There were dirty pots and pans in the kitchen. I am very disappointed and feel we paid premium money for a substandard rental.

Overall good, few issues

Overall, it worked and we enjoyed ourselves. The location was great. The cons: the common room space left plenty to be desired with 2 sunken/uncomfortable couches on opposite sides of the room. Not an inviting or comfortable space. The bedrooms were nice and spacious but the beds were pretty hard and not too comfortable (unless you like a really firm mattress maybe, which I somewhat do, but these were too firm). The dryer didn’t work and had damp towels left in it. The paper towels and toilet paper were really thin.

You could find better

Kinda ok, but the house is very used. Apparently it's not a real house that someone cares about. They seem to just make money on it. Doesn't worth the money. The couches are bowed. The outlets in the living room are loose. The one behind the TV is pulled out the wall. The boiler is very loud. It's almost impossible to do notice it when sleep in loft. All kitchen appliances are old and very used. No enough kitchenware/silverware for 10 people. No trash bags. No tablets/liquid for a dishwasher. No enough towels for 10 peoples staying. Only big bath towels. No face towels at all.

Great location but doing (and needing) some renovations

It seemed liked they are doing some renovations that need to be done. The downstairs bathroom had a cracked lighting fixture, the upstairs shower door was very had to open, the dryer didn’t work, and the heater was very loud. However, the location was perfect, it keep us warm at night, and we had a great time.

Big town home. Great vacation.

Pros: The place is massive and well maintained. It is just off the main road and close to everything in the North Lake. We also enjoyed a variety of cables (hdmi, vga, etc) provided by the TV, so you can hook up whatever-it-is gadget you have with you. Cons: - Only 1 parking space by default (Not an issue in the summer, since there's plenty of street parking and there's a visitors lot. In the winter that could become an issue since visitors lot is not plowed and street parking is not allowed due to plowing). We got lucky in that the guy in the club house was kind enough to give us 2 parking pass, but I can definitely see this becoming an issue, especially for a house that can sleep 10. - The heating seems to be piped to the ground floor (with 3 bedrooms), which results in that floor becoming sauna-like hot, while the top floor (with 1 bedroom) remains cool and the loft stays positively freezing (need blankets). Probably not an issue in the summer. - The management company for the place (Vacasa) are not the actual owners and are also not the people who actually administer the community. As such, should you have an issue, there are noone to go talk to. We didn't have any issues, but just keep in mind.

When we showed our first impression was decent.

When we arrived and tried to use the water, all of the plumbing was backed up. We went without water for two days. No showers no dish washer. The house it’s self was good but the our stay seemed to have issue after issue.

We had 8 come up for a mountain bike ride. Condobworked out great. Clubhouse and pool are amazing although they close a little early. Only recommendation is maybe another couch.

Spacious but lacking

Our family of 6 plus guest recently spent 10 days at this home. It's off Lake Shore Drive & past the Carnelian Bay area - but easy walk to the beach. The home is 3 levels - 4 beds & sleeping loft - quite suitable for 4 adult children & guests. The kitchen is fine - appliances work & the utensils are adequate (needs a fry pan!!!) Here are the negatives: 1. no internet - our contract included an internet - the prior reviews were 'sketchy' reception, we arrived to no internet as the homeowners cancelled the service. With 4 adult children who need internet access for work as well as spouse, this was a MAJOR problem. We did receive credit for the non-working internet, however, the issue was our family needed to find hot spots (very few) & unfortunately resulted in less family time. With our kids spread across the US, we have little vacation time w/them, no in - house internet is unacceptable Personally: T-moble has no reception in the house, Verizon very little. This is an issue for emergencies to receive phone calls from your families when at the rental. There is a land line. 2. broken dryer: called, emailed & Vacasa while a delayed response to the dryer, maintenance did enter to review the problem, however, 10 days & no dryer was not ideal. Clothes/towels were hung throughout the complex every nite & was unsightly. Rec'd credit for the non-working dryer, but again, an issue. The washer worked. 3. Refrigerator: blew a fuse which we fixed, someone was home at the time to render the issue. However, if during summer & vacationers are away the entire day, items may spoil 4. Main floor banister is very loose & the rod iron spindles are not 'young kid friendly" 5. Stairs to loft are 'open' treads - issue for young children. 6. Cleanliness: 4 of 10: blinds are very dusty, rugs are not vacuumed under beds, many burnt out light bulbs, several lamps are missing the 'toggle' knobs 7. Linens: pillows are well used & have no pillow case liner - I have doubts that these pillows are washed after each rental use which is hygiene concern. 8. Broken curtain rods/drapes are pulled from rods/traverse rods ripped from walls . The Carnelian Bay ppty mgr would not attend to the broken dryer as it was rented thru a third party & contact to Vacasa was tedious as main office in Portland & no in house internet/phone to communicate Until these issues are resolved & a solid contact for maintenance repair is secured, I cannot recommend this location .

So so

The internet did not work. The network ID that was provided would not show up in the list of networks available. When we tried to add it, it could not be found. Password given didn't work for any of the networks that did show up. Called the assistance line; they couldn't figure it out. They told us that they would have local management contact us. They never did.There were lightbulbs out in at least three lamps. Other lights didn't work. Very thin blankets and beds were not too comfortable. Not worth the money spent.
