Ocean Kure is one side of a duplex (two sides) and, as such, some amenities will be shared between both sides of the property.

Ocean Kure is a stunning oceanfront retreat designed for relaxation and comfort, offering breathtaking views and modern conveniences. This spacious home features two large oceanfront decks where guests can soak in the coastal breeze, along with direct private beach access for effortless seaside enjoyment. The shared saltwater pool, resurfaced in 2022, provides a refreshing escape, with easy access right from the living room deck. The house was perfect set up for 9 people. It was very clean and well stocked. Location was great and the we really enjoyed the pool on the exceptionally hot days and after the beach.

Kure Beach

We stayed here for a week with friends and family. Overall we had a great time as the townhouse has plenty of space for multiple families. The location and beach access are great as well as the pool. The townhouse was not as clean as some other places we have stayed but the cleaning crew was still there when we arrived so they may have been rushed to allow us to get in on time.

Perfect Location; perfect for big family

The size of the house, amenities, pool, proximity to the beach, everything was amazing. It was a well-equipped kitchen. We had grandparents, aunts, uncles, great-aunts, kids- worked well for everyone! Pleasantly surprised that there were 2 bikes to use! The property manager/owner was fabulous and super quick to respond. We would return!

nice unit right on the beach

Would have been better if the elevator worked. My wife who is 74 with Parkinson's disease and cancer and confined to a wheel chair was limited to one floor of the house. Other than that it was a nice house with a view of the beach my family enjoyed.

Great view, fantastic pool

We stayed for a week - two couples, two single adults, and 2 children. There was plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, etc. The pool was fantastic - our son loved the basketball goal which was a great surprise. We also loved the easy walk right out onto the beach. The elevator was great for unloading + loading the car. There are good restaurants in Kure Beach + Carolina Beach that are in walking distance - we enjoyed Havanas and Freddie's and walked home from both. We definitely recommend this home and would stay again.

Great location

Property was as expected/accurate web site description. Only knock was the cleanliness…not horrible by any means but dirty towels left in the elevator and cabinets had a few dirty dishes. Kitchen was well supplied. Easy beach access and pool was a bonus. Plenty of beach chairs. Lacked beach and kitchen towels, and very limited hangars in the closets - recommend stocking or advising renters to bring their own. Had an issue with the back deck door handle coming loose - maintenance was quick to respond. Overall great rental.

Great house for a family with adult children!

The house is beautiful. Expansive decks that were great when local family visited - easy to maintain social distancing in this crazy time . Lots of deck tables and Chairs ,beautiful views of ocean . There are plenty of comfortable beds. Great kitchen. Easy access to the beach which we enjoyed every day. Rented surfboards from a local place for $10/day. Brought fishing pole to fish right there at the beach. Also got the $10 fishing license. I would Most definitely recommend this property. and if you have multiple families there are several duplexes with a connecting deck.

Great location and house was nice...

We had a great time although there are a few points to make note of for future guests. Toilets and showers were not clean. The thermostats were NOT adjustable and it was HOT! Also, the back door to the lower deck was incredibly hard to close and open. House wasn’t equipped with towels or beach chairs. The house adjacent with shared pool was our party as well and it was a lot nicer, cooler and had plenty of beach chairs and towels. Overall would probably pick the property next door to this one.

Great location, needs some upkeep

Fantastic location. Beach is beautiful, close to Carolina beach (more stuff to do), pool is perfect (just have to share with other duplex). Size is great - we had 2 full families + our nanny (5 adults, 5 kids ages 7 mo to 6 yrs) with plenty of room. Beds were very comfortable. Downsize is the cleanliness and random broken pieces of furniture. It felt like the reported cleaning service didn’t come between tenants. The floor was covered in sand, kitchen was filthy, bathrooms disgusting, coffee pot was dirty and with grounds, and all the dishes dirty but in the cabinets. Multiple chairs broken, broken ladder on one of the bunks (so unsafe!), and cabinet in kitchen hanging by the hinges. We had a great time but upkeep needs to be improved.

Fun for the whole family

We really enjoyed being close to the beach and even closer to the pool. Lots of things to do and places to eat close by also. The owner was easy to work with and communicate with. We had eight adults and four kids, and it was the perfect fit for us. We will definitely consider going back!

Beautiful beachfront property

Everything was perfect. The location right on the beach, the pool for the kids, the beach chairs and boogie boards, and the house itself was well furnished with great beachy decorations. The kitchen had everything and more than we needed. We also enjoyed the Fort Fisher Aquarium, the Tiki Bar, Carolina Beach, downtown Wilmington and watching Wednesday night fireworks from the beach in front of the house. A great vacation.

The house was all we could of ask for. The grandkids would get in the pool in the morning, beach after lunch and back to the pool in the afternoon. We all had a very good time.

We loved staying here! Plenty of room and the amenities were fantastic! Our kids enjoyed bouncing from the beach to the pool throughout the day and daily walks up and down the beach looking for sea shells was fun for everyone. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets to enjoy daily, bait shop and groceries are close and an evening out to the restaurants and bars were close as well. Would stay here again in a heart beat. Beautiful views!

Beautiful views from the deck and only steps to the ocean. The house was clean and well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, we were a group of 7 to 8 with some visitors during the day and we still could have gone a week without doing dishes if we wanted to. Paper products such as toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags were well stocked, much better than most rentals we have stayed in. The location of the house was perfect, Right in between the Carolina Beach boardwalk and the Kure Beach pier. Communication with the owners was very prompt during our stay. Thanks for a great long weekend!
