Lack of information, misleading photos of views outside property
The photos of the views from the property are misleading. They do not show any evidence of the busy road directly outside the property. The fumes from the traffic are constant and the windows had to be kept closed because of the toxic fumes. The noise from the traffic goes on all day and night making sleeping difficult even with all windows closed. We were woken at 5am on one morning by two large tankers emptying the sewer outside; this went on for hours, this happened again at 6am a few days later. A horrid experience. There was a lack of information on how the appliances worked in the property, we were not informed of how or where we could dispose of our rubbish. When we arrived we were asked to pay a large amount for the cleaning fee. The information said cleaning was paid by per person, this is very misleading we were advised by the person that we had to pay the full amount as if the apartment was fully occupied this was the minimum fee for cleaning. Why not just state that cleaning fee is the full amount anyway rather than confusing people by stating that cleaning is this amount per person. This is an exorbitant fee in the first place. We were not given any receipts for the fees paid. The beach was dirty with rubbish covering it. There are signs saying not to enter the water as it is polluted.
We had to have all the windows closed all the time because of the toxic fumes from the road, this mean we had to have the air conditioning on all the time. I am hoping we will not be charged for any excess electricity usage. The Roof terrace was a nice addition but the toxic fumes from the road made it impossible to sit up there. A black pollution cloud was visible in the air. The apartment was very clean and we were accommodated for our late arrival and a late departure and felt welcome by the hosts. But our stay was overshadowed by the lack of truthful information regarding the property. The photos of the views of the outside of the property need to be more honest. If we had been aware of this we would not have booked this property.
