Set deep in breathtaking countryside on a hill surrounded by grape vines, olive groves and fruit trees, La Casa Rosa offers a range of exceptional comfort. All rooms have spectacular views across the snow-capped Apennine Mountain range and green velvet valleys. Guests can sit on the numerous balconies and terraces to relax in total peace and tranquility enjoying the constantly changing scenery. This beautifully restored farmhouse with its own private swimming pool , is just 40 minutes drive from golden beaches and turquoise waters of the Adriatic Sea. The national parks of the Gran Sasso (Italy’s largest) and the Majella are close by, making La Casa Rosa an ideal location for nature enthusiasts, bike riders, walkers, painters, skiers , adrenaline junkies and beach lovers alike. We even have a yoga teacher and masseuse who can come to the villa to teach classes of all levels. A beautifully restored farmhouse. The accommodation consists of 5 spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms one of which is ensuite.
The house is ideal for families or large groups and can accommodate up to 12 people. There is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and fridge freezer, microwave, coffee machine, fan oven and gas hob. The kitchen table can be extended to accomodate up to 10 people.
For the cold winter days, there is a log fire and the house comes fully equipped with central heating
In addition to the ensuite, there are a further two bathrooms both with shower cabins and bath (one of which is a claw foot bath). All bathrooms are equipped with hairdryers and bidets. It goes without saying, that all linen and towels are provided.
Broadband WiFi is available and free for guests to use at their leisure.
The spacious living room has three large sofas and two coffee tables as well as a 52' SONY BRAVA television and DVD player. The TV is connected to a SONOS soundbar and sub-woofer. Ceiling fans are provided for additional comfort on those warm evenings. All rooms have air-conditioners.
All windows are equipped with fully retractable mosquito nets and screens.
There is a newly renovated swimming pool, sun loungers, cushions, Parasols, Weber gas BBQ and garden furniture especially for guests to enjoy during the hot summer afternoons spent relaxing by the pool.
The house itself is surrounded by a farm with a variety of animals. the farmer, Sergio, is always delighted to show young children around.

Country holiday far away from everything

We arrived at this countryside property a hot day in july and loved the house! It has everything you need for a relaxing holiday - clean and big house with a lovely pool. The rooms are big and the house is very charming. The garden is also great and the pool has a nice size:)We where a big family with some children and everyone loved the house.Several times a week the bakerycar and cheese car come along so you can buy delicious food!The people nearby is very nice,but dont speak English. Nobody speaks english...so have your italianbook with you;) One night we ate at the agriturismo that you drive by on your way up to the house - and it was amazing.Best experience ever and the people was so nice! LOTS of food ! There are some very important things to know tough: This property is on a top with small twisty roads and is far away from most things.The nearby markets(15 min drive)has limited things and the beach/coast is a 40 min drive away.There you have the big supermarkets.There are many animals around the house and we had a dog visiting us many times,but he was nice:) and then you have the chickens,rooster and turkeys that make some noise(but really no problem).Remember that the house is far away from most things,but is perfect for a relaxing holiday! We liked it,but It would have been nice to have a nice town in walking distance. Kind regards from Tanja and family - from Norway

Sehr schönes großes Landhaus in den ursprünglichen Abruzzen

Ein sehr schönes großes Haus in ursprünglicher und einfacher ländlicher Lage in den Abruzzen. Vom Garten aus blickt man auf die sanften Hügel in der nahen Umgebung und in der Ferne auf den Gran Sasso sowie das Maiella Massiv. Die 4 großen Schlafzimmer und der Wohnbereich sind klimatisiert. Der Pool könnte allerdings etwas größer sein. Eine Außendusche wäre auch ganz nett. Wie vielleicht auch noch ein bis zwei weitere Sonnenschirme. Liegen und Stühle sind ausreichend vorhanden. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet, auch für mehr als 11 Personen, sogar mit zwei Kühlschränken. Auch in den 3 großen Bädern ist alles Nötige vorhanden. Wenn man darauf achtet, dass der Insektenschutz immer geschlossen ist, hält man auch fast alles Getier draußen. Zum Haus geht es von der Ebene in ca. 10 min und 300 Höhenmetern eine gewundene Straße hinauf. Zu den nächstgelegenen Ortschaften und Geschäften muss man diese leider auch immer wieder hinunter. Der Verwalter Sergio wohnt mit seiner Frau und seinen Eltern im Haus oberhalb des LCR. Sie waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit und hatten immer Zeit für ein Schwätzchen. Italienisch sprechen zu können, ist aber schon von Vorteil. Ein wenig getrübt wurde der überwiegend positive Gesamteindruck leider durch vermehrt auftretendes Hundegebell in der Nacht aus Nah (Sergio selber hat 3 Hunde) und vor Allem aus der Ferne. Sowie auch durch das ganztägige Krähen der Hähne. Es gibt hier so einiges an Federvieh wie Hühner, Puten und auch Truthähne. Wen aber die Fahrerei und die typischen Geräusche auf dem italienischen Land nicht stört, der ist im LCR sehr gut aufgehoben. Die Landschaft ist sehr schön, die Menschen sehr nett und hilfsbereit und die Weine sehr lecker. Die Kommunikation mit Tom, dem Vermieter des LCR, klappte reibungslos (auf Englisch). Er war immer zu erreichen und hilfsbereit. Bei Fragen vor der Buchung / Anreise wie auch während unseres Aufenthalts. Ein sehr netter Kontakt.

Remote, fantastic scenery, great time had by all. Local restaurants friendly and the food, amazing. Tom was attentive to our questions and the farmhouse exactly as described. Would recommend to anyone looking for something different and unique.

Magnificent well appointed luxury home

We arrived to this beautiful home perfectly positioned in the rolling hillside about 30 minutes drive from Pescara. House well set up for our group of 4, with beds made and fresh towels and toiletries available. The home has wifi and a perfectly laid out country kitchen with all the modern appliances needed to cook at home. Great outdoor sitting dining area. Air conditioning ensured a pleasant sleep at night. Weather was perfect during our stay and we enjoyed use of the pristine swimming pool situated in front garden with 360 degree views of the local landscape. House presented as per description, well maintained and spotlessly clean on our arrival. We undertook daily trips to Neighbouring villages and a day basking on the beach in Pescara but a couple the highlights for us was Penna the medieval town and the abondoned medieval village of San Sebastian. What finds! Views were breathtaking everywhere we went. Food was excellent. Our inability to converse in Italian was not a handicap locals were very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend this beautiful home as a base to visit this magnificent pocket of Italy. We will return and can only highly recommend the home to others who wish to get away from the busy, noisy and hectic pace of city life.

Stunning property with magical views .

The description of the property was accurate . The house is set in a stunning location, with amazing vistas. I woke to views of snow capped mountains bathed in sunshine . After a perfect start to the day a short drive to the village provided the opportunity to indulge and have freshly baked croissants, cappuccino and converse with the friendly " locals ". The house was spacious and the layout perfect for the six of us . The fire in the kitchen took the evening chill off the air and we spent several evenings , chilling playing board games and drinking the excellent local vino . After a hard days treking / cycling it was perfect to relax and hang out in . The property was well maintained by Sergio and Annemarie , ( the local farmer and his wife ) who are super friendly . They will at a reasonable cost cook dinner and provide complementing local wines . We were there at Easter so although it was too chilly to use the pool we had some lovely BBQ's. Our days were spent exploring the medival towns , hiking with the occasional trip to the coast . The local restaurants were exceptionally well priced and served simple but good wholesome food . ( One member of the party was vegetarian but this did not prove to be problematic ). I would love to revisit and will certainly recommend to my friends .

splendide propriété

We stayed at LCR for two weeks from 22/07 to 05/08/2017 to 11 people including two children. The house is splendid, spacious, comfortable and very clean. The rooms are very large and the bathrooms very well arranged, a large living room with 3 sofas, TV and WiFi comfortably accommodates all occupants, the kitchen is well equipped, we have prepared most of our meals. The outsides are well maintained, the panorama is magnificent with views of the hills and nearby mountains. Our children especially enjoyed the pool, welcome by this summer of strong heat. We were able to celebrate our 50 years of marriage with our many guests, a big thank you to Tom the owner Tom was caring and attentive to all our requests, as well as Sergio and Anna Maria, the housekeepers who were friendly and helpful so that we could have a pleasant stay. The place is ideal for walks and climbs in the mountains (chain Gran Sasso), the sea at 40 minutes with Monte silvano and Pineto, and all visits to towns and villages around. We recommend this place, quiet, quiet and safe, for our part we would return to LCR with great pleasure. A little paradise with stunning views!

We had a wonderful stay in La Case Rosa. We were 3 families, with a total of 7 kids (from 2 to 12). The house is spacious enough, cosy and well equipped. Rooms are big with comfortable beds. And the exterior is really nice. Surrounding view is jaw breaking. Without forgetting to mention Sergio and his wife living the house next door (but with total privacy) and always available for everything. You definitely need a car with a decent GPS as you are quite in the middle of nowhere. I warmly recommend La Casa Rosa.

Ein kleines Paradies

Ein wunderbarer Urlaub! Wir verbrachten herrliche Tage im LCR; das Haus ist groß und geräumig und gut ausgestattet, wir waren 7 Personen. Sehr gemütlich! Der Pool ist um einiges kleiner, als es am Bild scheint; wirklich "Längen" schwimmen ist nicht möglich; jedoch kann man sich darin wunderbar abkühlen und die Kinder hatten ihren Spaß. Sergio und Maria waren angenehme Nachbarn; ganz liebe Menschen! Immer wieder verwöhnten sie uns mit Köstlichkeiten aus ihrem Garten. Unsere Kinder hatten eine große Freude mit ihren Tieren (Hunde, Katzen, Truthähne, Hühner, Enten, Schafe etc....). Die Lage des LCR ist im "Nirgendwo", d.h. ohne Auto ist man verloren und die Straßen sind öfters eine "Aufgabe" - jedoch wenn man Einsamkeit sucht, ist man im Paradies. Atri als nächst größere Stadt ist wärmstens zu empfehlen - ein/mehrere Aperol Spritz auf dem Piazza munden herrlich! Wir können das LCR nur weiterempfehlen.
