Room was ok at best. Bathroom seemed dated and not so clean as we got some stenches. Also, the AC kept acting up but worked at the end.

A Supergr-8 time!

It was better than we expected. Customer service was excellent and they were very understanding when we expressed a concern about a leaky toilet. They upgraded our room to a theme room, which was amazing!

The floors in the lobby and hallway were very dirty. There were aspects of the hotel that were obviously run down and needing maintenance. The continental breakfast was so so. Not the best I’ve ever had that’s for sure. The pool didn’t open until 10am and the water slide was shut down.

Overall condition of hotel is very poor. Slide hasn't been working in months, which was why we booked. Had to change room due to mildew smell ( not that picky it is only a 2 star) Room not cleaned today or dirty towels replaced, and the most basic continental breakfast i have seen out of a hostel. LDisappointing for a family trip however room door, bathroom and beds worked. :)

Hotel was perfectly adequate. Rooms are old and dated, but the staff are friendly and helpful. Complimentary continental breakfast available helps save a bit of money. Central to highways and there are restaurants and grocery stores nearby.

The waterslide was out of order. There were no towels in the pool area. Breakfast was terrible. Juice machine was out of order, the one waffle machine had a long wait and then the waffles were really gross. We couldn’t even eat them. Tried the hard boiled egg and it was white all the way through and tasted terrible. We left and had to go buy breakfast.

The super 8 in Castlegar is worth staying at. The pool area is top notch and the breakfast is one of the best I’ve ever had. Good rates and friendly staff.
