The room was clean and we appreciated that. When we arrived, a staff member was on the phone, obviously speaking with a customer regarding internet connection. She was visibly annoyed, rolling her eyes and saying things like, “yea, I guess I could come to your room and help figure out the WiFi”. It was awkward for my daughters and me.
The swimming pool was a perfect temperature, however, there dirt all on the bottom of the pool and the stairs. Had it not looked so dirty we would have used the tool to remove the debris floating on the top of the water. It was a beautiful night so we opted to lay on the pool chairs and enjoy the sun setting instead of swimming.
Although we had been offered to request a late check out at 3:00 or 12:00, they were both declined, which I understand. Sometimes late check out works. Sometimes it doesn’t. However, I received an email early on the morning we were checking out which asked us to let the office know what time we were checking out. I indicated 11:00, however, the cleaning staff looked inside our window three different times to see if he had left earlier. We wanted the curtains opened for the morning sunlight , but very intrusive having the cleaning staff looking through the window several times to see if we had left. After the third time we just loaded up the car and drove home at 10:00.
Wouldn’t recommend this motel. Even though it is classified as a hotel, it has a very motel-sy feel to it.
