AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
This property is next door to an open air night club, playing loud club music from 10pm until 5/6am everyday! Next door to that is another open air night club also playing loud music. The property is also directly above a street food takeaway/ open air restaurant. This means that the smell of the food is constant in the property and you get smoke and smell from the takaway blowing across the roof terrace when open usually until about 3am.
The bedrooms are not closed door rooms, as it appears in the photos.
One bedroom has just a small partition wall to the kitchen. The other bedroom is on the walk through to the roof terrace, so privacy was an issue.
The property it self is okay. The kitchen is modern and functional.
We had to move out of the property to keep our sanity after 7 nights out of the planned 10 night stay.
We booked a different apartment in Souda which was amazing & cheaper!
The lack of sleep meant that we were having to try and sleep through the day, missing out on our planned trips. The car we hired was underused as we were too tired to go anywhere. Even when trying to sleep during the day there is a constant noise from the busy road, horns, loud music from passing cars etc, the paper-thin walls and substandard windows were not good enough.
One small positive, the owner did refund us part of the 3 days we didnt stay. But we did have to get Vrbo involved to make them do it.
This property is not suitable to anyone! Not even a young group!
