Clean room, nice staff except breakfast lady, run down properly (holes in curtains, lots of dirty chipped paint, loose nuts and bolts for locks etc, ). Pictures on wall nice. TV worked well. Parking convenient although cost an additional $10 a night. Travelocity scammed me for $10 extra on the final bill for insurance I never requested. Dissatisfied with being scammed by Travelocity

We chose this location for convenience and price. They do have breakfast but make sure you get there early. We parked a boat and trailer in the parking lot at no extra charge. Room was nice, just remember you are in Charleston by the mash so the room will feel damp unless you turn down the AC. Loved staying next to the docks!

Does not meet the standards of a 3-star. Below expectations, not recommended for family. 1. The lock key is non-functional. 2. There is evidence of cockroach infestation, few unknown evidences too. 3. The commode seat is unstable. 4. The bathtub tap is broken. 5. The door exhibits oil and dirt accumulation. 6. The room is in a state of disrepair and lacks cleanliness. 7. The lobby area is unclean. 8. There is an undisclosed parking charge of $11 per night.

Very worn and fraying carpet in the room, very noisy in the hallway, very loud doors slamming near our room, rust on the bathroom door knobs and jams, mold on a lamp shade, sand in the shower upon arrival, hot/cold nozzle in tub coming off with mold behind it and the bathroom sink was very slow to drain.

The location of the property was at the marina, which was nice. The whole hotel needs major updates! Repainting, new fixtures, shower curtains, literally everything. The ac soaked the floor in our room.

Our recent experience at this establishment was highly unsatisfactory. Upon arrival at our second-floor room (with the elevator out of service), we observed numerous bleach bottles, which, while indicating an attempt at sanitization, resulted in an overwhelming chemical odor that caused eye irritation upon entering the room. The room's condition was also concerning, with noticeable stains on various surfaces, including the television, artwork, and headboard. To alleviate the chemical smell, we had to prop the door open, which unfortunately led to an unsettling incident of someone attempting to peer into our room, creating a significant safety concern. Seeking a refund, we approached the front desk, but due to our booking through Expedia, a refund was not possible. Attempts to secure a refund through Expedia were also unsuccessful. The front desk staff's lack of professionalism and apparent disregard for our distress further exacerbated the situation. Consequently, we chose to depart and secure accommodations elsewhere. We strongly advise against staying at this establishment.

This is the nicest La Quinta hotel I’ve ever been to. The Night Shift auditor was very nice and was able to help me with a weird accommodation with my stepdad and I, since we are traveling to see my mom in the hospital on different days she was respectful, and the facility itself was actually Very nice in comparison to the La Quinta that I’ve been to before. I also like that it’s right at a boat marina so to me that’s super peaceful.

August Frightfest!

They originally put us in the second building on the top floor on opposite ends of the building, which was fine, until we got there and the elevator didn’t work. Okay, no big deal. After carrying 2 car loads of items up 3 fights of stairs with a toddler I go to check on my mom in her room only to notice there was mold EVERYWHERE. So after talking to the agent running the front desk, who was so friendly and very clearly overwhelmed, he switched my mom into the main hotel. Cool problem solved. Then I went back to the room reserved for my family of 4 only to find the room was filthy and when we shut off the light, the lampshade was also covered in black mold. If that’s not bad enough, my husband woke the next morning to find roaches in our bathroom. We then talked to the desk clerk and she was so wonderful! She immediately took our concern and did everything she could to make it right. The point is that no one seemed surprised by our concerns and that’s a problem. Decently priced should not mean allowing people to stay in conditions that could cause people to get sick.
