Free parking is good things about this place. However the location is at corner of busy street and still you hear traffic noise after midnight. Hospitals are near so we heard ambulances.
The unit we rented was nice but needs work. However the unit was very clean and the staff was really kind a d helpful

Great trip!
Great location within walking distance of all the sites. Good communication from manager. Beds were good - could use a mattress topper - little too firm. Full kitchen but no table to eat at only real issue. Worked great for MUSC visit.

My stay at The Quarters on Spring was a great experience overall. The communication with the hosts was excellent, making check-in and any questions I had a breeze. The space was clean, though not spotless, and a few minor maintenance issues stood out—a broken picture frame, and a non-working lightbulb on one of the bedside lamps. The property itself could use a bit of upkeep, but it was still comfortable.
The biggest downside was the noise from outside, which might be an issue for light sleepers. Despite these minor drawbacks, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend it for those who value great communication and overall comfort.
The pin code to enter your room is the same for all of the other rooms. So every other guest at the hotel has access to your room. When I arrived an employee told me the code to my room. His description of where my room was located was confusing. I unwittingly went to the wrong room and typed in my code. I thought to myself, "this must be my room since the code worked." But it was not my room and was already inhabited by someone else. I tried the room next door. It also was not my room and it was also inhabited by someone else. The other guests were mortified that I had the code to their rooms. I immediately went down to the desk to alert the employee that all the rooms had the same code. When I checked in he assured me that he would be there a while longer to answer any questions I had. But when I came down to tell him about the room codes all being the same, he was already gone for the day. I called the hotel phone number and no one answered. I returned to my room and it smelled bad. I spent the night worried about the fact that complete strangers had access to my room while I was sleeping. I barricaded the door with whatever I could find. But I did not feel safe.

We loved the room (pink one); however, it was quite loud. Luckily my white noise app did the trick.
Every time I visit Charleston I stay at quarters on spring! They are incredibly on top of anything needed!! Rooms are clean and comfortable! Have been traveling to Charleston for years and once I found them I never stay anywhere else!!
Property was clean and neat. The only disadvantage was the parking. It was difficult to locate without assistance from front desk personnel. Anyone looking to reserve at this facility needs to be aware that parking is off-site and difficulty to find.

Cute and comfy with plenty of space
What a cute place! Check-in went smoothly, staff in the office were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We rented unit D (pink called ceilings) on the second floor. Super clean, Bed was comfortable and laundry in unit was a bonus. Only negatives: bathroom towel hook and toilet paper holder are loose and could use some attention. There is a k-cup coffee maker but no pods provided.
Location is nice, it’s a little bit of a distance from King St but still walkable. There’s a Lome bike rental just a few blocks away. And there’s an amazing cafe with breakfast and sandwiches just down the block. There’s a small convenience store within walking distance too

Firstly, this location and price were great. We stayed in the attic/loft room and it was good. Its a third floor walk up. My partner has an elevator issue, so this was great for us but maybe not for everybody. We did get a little confused as to the entance door to the building, but staff quickly and politely helped us to our space.
We had the basics and the room ended up being quieter than we expected for the weekend. Room had the essentials and onsite staff were very responsive, knowledgable, and helpful. Shower had lots of hot water and multiple heads. The building felt secure and had no issues going to/from the parking area, which is really close if not exactly adjacent.
A few things for this unit only. There was a full kitchen, but no chairs in the unit, no table, and only two forks. The chair thing was sort of odd, but maybe its a code issue; the ceilings are sloped. Having a full length mirror for that room should be a standard. Also, theres no place to hang long things, or really anywhere to set your luggage; hooks and a foldable luggage stand could go a long way. Lastly, the room has a smart tv, however with its stand you cant easily see the tv while in bed (the only seating place); getting this up even 6 inches could be an improvement or maybe a lower bedframe.
The property is basically 4 apartments in a centrally located area of Charleston. One can easily walk to the shopping, food and bar scene in historic Charleston (1 mile), walk the neighborhoods with cute shops, bars, and houses (right out the apartment door) or head out the Savannah Highway (about two miles) and be in a more suburban environment) We really loved the Charleston vibe which in turn lends to a very positive review of this property. The apartments have onsite property managers that are very accessible and are there to help in any way they can. True southern charm oozed throughout the city of Charleston.
I have stayed here several times in different rooms! Very attentive staff if you need them!! Great location if you are not interested in staying close to the shopping section of King Street! If you do love lower king it is very easily accessible!
There are several casual to fine dining restaurants near by honestly some of my favorites! Very accessible to south or north side of downtown! I would highly recommend!
The property manager is phenomenal! The room is really nice also. But for the price point, it should not have stains on the pillows and furniture. We couldn’t even sit on the chair because there were numerous mystery stains. The decor and beds were all very nice. The bathroom and kitchen were great too. Outside of the cleanliness of the living room, it was perfect. It is loud but that’s sort of expected in that area. Just looks like a party night that was not cleaned up after. At that price, I wouldn’t expect that.
Unable to reach office with concern upon arrival. Unable to contact by phone or email. Since my husband and I are in our 70’s and luggage would have been impossible get up stairs. Would have paid different amount to stay on first floor.
Pictures were misleading. Bathroom was way too small.

An enjoyable visit to Charleston
Property was very clean and well maintained and had a well-equipped kitchen and a very comfortable bed. Only problem we had during our stay was caused by a small step between the kitchen and the main room which caused a fall. The owner demonstrated appropriate concern and, in an effort, to try to improve safety since he could not change the step, he applied tape as a visual aid which helped. The parking is nearby, but tight with our Honda Fit, a larger car might have difficulty accessing the parking area. The access to the free Carta Dash shuttle one block down from our building was a definite plus and enabled us to visit the historic area without having to use our car.
