1) Owner should push his own trash to curb instead of asking guests to do so2) Owner should inspect contracted work on siteas owner reportedly contracts cleaning and pest control services. Unfortunately, the carpet was dirty, register dusty and guests had the company of flying roach/s and wasps in the house. Owner indicated he would follow-up with a house visit. Unfortunately, he arrived at the house, but âforgot his key.â3) Owner should replace sofa featured in VRBO headshot, as sofa is not sittable with any degree of comfort, as sitter sinks to floor. 4) Owner should carefully choose wording for kitchen - it is not a âworking kitchen,â⊠perhaps should read â kitchen space with limited inventory, therefore bring your own cutlery.â5) Owner could have responded to above with better business etiguette and practice, instead of â60s mindset of deflecting, patronizing, and gaslighting our concerns. Owner unwilling adjust fee or initiate best business practice by calling this renter back to discuss texted concerns of this renter at the end of the contracted stay. Interesting and unusual experience for us and guests. Owner made it clear that this was âjust one of his properties.âRating at three star for location, space and ownerâs quick response to an issue related to guests being unable to regulate a hot running shower turnoff, as owner did respond with timely repair.Thank you for the opportunity to share.
