lodge with modern comfort. The owner spent summers on lakes and rivers and there is a rich history of
boat and canoe building in his family. This love of natural elements was the inspiration for creating
Meech Lake Lodge. The beauty of wood, copper and iron combined with hand-crafted lighting envelop
you in a serenity and connection with nature rarely found in modern homes.
The Space:
Meech Lake, a prestigious body of water, is just a 20 minute drive from downtown Ottawa. Bald eagles
soar, the common loon teases you with their plaintive call and wildlife enjoys the bounty of nature.
The property boasts the largest private dock on the lake with expansive shorelines and plenty of privacy.
White Muskoka chairs invite you to enjoy morning coffee, soak up the sun or sip a glass of wine while
you watch the sun set. The covered area of the dock has a comfortable seating area including a copper
topped bar with stools. The dock has a variety of kayaks, paddle boards and a Prospector canoe. The
waters of the lake are warm and clean, making the swimming excellent. Nature lovers will appreciate
the privileged access to Gatineau Park, with over 200 kilometres of year-round hiking and mountain
biking trails just steps away.
Guests will enjoy the tranquility of country living in a highly secure environment. Canada’s Prime
Minister’s summer residence is located at the far end of the Meech Lake Road, with regular security
patrols it gives you a heightened sense of safety and peace of mind.
Unparalleled views of lake and hills greet you from every room. On cool nights, turn on the jets and
enjoy a hot tub overlooking the lake. Inside the house an iconic Jotul gas stove warms up the interior.
The new 300 square foot Yurt includes a queen size bed, twin bunks and an electric fireplace for cooler
evenings. The domed skylight gives guests a remarkable view of the night sky.
Amenities include a full gym with Peloton, elliptical, Kettler spin bike, Concept 2 rowing machine, kettle
bells, weights, and Body Solid wall gym. Once you’ve done your work-out relax in the infrared sauna.
The kitchen has all the bells and whistles you need to create gourmet meals while taking in that
incredible view and listen to your favorite music on the Sonos surround sound.

The municipality prides itself on its culture and picturesque setting. The town's art galleries, cafes and shops give it an incomparable charm that will fix itself in your memory.

The reclaimed material used for the interior walls inside Meech Lake Lodge mostly consist of Mushroom wood, barn board, Hand Hewn Jacket Board and Threshing floor from Atmosphere et Bois in Manotick.
