Good stay, recommend this hotel.

We were happy with our stay overall. The room looks a bit outdated, but it’s well maintained and clean. Comparing to other Chinese local chain hotels, the quality of the room and service is much better, especially the breakfast, it had many varieties for both Chinese and Western styles, very good breakfast! The location is great, just right by the subway entrance. The 3 stars for the service is for the front desk staffs. They didn’t seem being well trained, looked cold and were not forthcoming, should have some smiles on the face at least.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Chengdu and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is comfortable, affordable, clean, and quiet, making it an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers. One of the standout features of this hotel is its strategic location. Situated right in the city center, it's conveniently close to numerous food and drink shops, offering a wide variety of dining options within walking distance. This made it incredibly easy to explore the local cuisine and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Chengdu. The rooms are well-maintained and provide a restful environment after a long day of sightseeing or work. Despite being centrally located, the hotel manages to maintain a peaceful ambiance, ensuring a good night's sleep. However, there was a minor inconvenience during our stay. Upon arrival, no staff member came to assist with our luggage. While this did not significantly impact our overall experience, it was a small letdown in terms of service. In summary, Holiday Inn Chengdu offers a comfortable and clean stay at an affordable price, with an unbeatable location in the heart of the city. Just be prepared to handle your own luggage upon arrival.

The environment is very clean and the facilities are quite basic. The front desk service was so so. No one was there to help us with luggages. Not very welcoming. They seemed to be new and on guard all the time. They had to read out the rules before you enter. It feels a little turn off as a guest. It could have been communicated in a softer way instead of being a safety guard. However, they gave me a free upgrade to executive floor and free two drink tickets. And the house keeping service and delivery service was top notch- very efficient. The location is convenient- close to the centre and right next to subway exit.

The location is great. A metro station entrance is just 10 meters from the entrance. Its breakfast is also great. However, the price is bit expensive compared other 4 star or 5 stat hotels operated by a Chinese company.
