The staff friendly and helpful, drawback was no availability for breakfast or evening meals, some sites still show them doing food. However did recommend a couple of places to visit, found a lovely cafe about 150-200 yards around the corner for breakfast.

Room was a little dated, but for the price we paid it was well worth the money. Would happily stay again if we are in the area again.

En suite room with parking and bar at a good rate!

Good location, plenty of parking and an en-suite room. The room was clean but could do with a coat of paint and a new mattress for the bed.

Great place for solo travellers on a budget

Great location, well priced, free parking, friendly staff. Rooms have recently had a light refurb with new furniture and carpets. This was my 2nd stay here and already planning my next. Only downsides are the sound proofing isn't great and Room 3 could use a new mattress. Current one is quite worn and uneven

Simple and basic but ticks all the boxes I required as well as an excellent pint of Pride and ESB. The room also provided a bottle of water which the Ibis hotel didn't even include for over twice the price. A few eating places and a takeaway just a 5 mins walk down the road too.

Lovely staff

The rooms was compact, as can be seen in the photos. There was tea and coffee and bottles of water. We arrived a bit early but were able to check in. The beds are a little hard and the pillows could be plumper, but overall it was fine. It was a nice little room and was clean. The landlady of the pub was very friendly. There was plenty of parking, but even if the car park was full, the side street had parking. The pub itself was nice, so we popped in for a nightcap. I'd stay again if I was in the area, especially as this was by far the cheapest place.
