The only thing was that the room was not cleaned on one day and we had to ask for milk and coffee because they had not refilled Everything else was excellent the food and the restaurant staff the reception was very good

Really friendly welcoming staff and lovely location. Hotel very close to city centre and great building. Rooms a bit tired but very clean. Breakfast was ok but not as good as expected (no mushrooms and toast chewy due to being under a warmer and only offered one pot of tea). I would come again

Just a one night stay during the Chester Xmas market period. We had a business king room in the original Mill building. Canal view and room size was great. Ensuite whilst clean and adequate in need of a spruce up. (Over bath shower curtain pole frll down, door was badly fitted and hard to close and no shelf.) Breakfast was well organised and food fantastic but didn't like having to pre-book a timed entry slot. Hotel well positioned for a 10 mini walk to the shops. Pool and spar was a great bonus and very relaxing.
