This hotel has so much potential to be much better. The food was really poor, the scrambled egg was just slop. God knows what the chefs done with it but youve got a problem if your chef cant scramble eggs properly. The young lady at breakfast was working really hard but youve got to give her some help. 1 person cant be bringing out the food and clearing the tables....maybe you were short staffed just for

Overall a nice stay

Very nice stay, rooms clean tidy, lovely big bed. Shower was excellent, however toilet roll holder missing which wasn't so great. Ate dinner which was all fine, we were late arriving so didn't manage a dessert. Breakfast disappointing as luke warm and not a lot of choice as chef replenishing. Overall a nice stay.

Enjoyed our 1 night stay, staff are polite and very busy, we had dinner and breakfast which was ok, our room was clean but a little TLC on the broken bedside lamp shades and coffee stain on the carpet, but thats me being picky, overall goodnight stay.

Very happy with room overall very clean, a few cobwebs. Breakfast was excellent able to offer me gluten and dairy free options. Staff very friendly and helpful will definitely book again.

We recently stayed in the family block over the weekend and had a really lovely stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and quiet – perfect for a restful night. Parking was easy, and the breakfast was nicely cooked and delicious. The staff were absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay

Overall a great place to stay. Rooms are just a little bit tired but are very clean . Staff are really friendly. Bed a little to firm for me.

My daughter and I stayed at Twin Oaks for the weekend and had a really lovely stay. The breakfast was delicious and all the staff there were really friendly and helpful. The housekeeper was also very respectful and accommodating. Beds were also very comfy! Thank you

Twin Oaks hotel, check in was good, access card for the room given by reception and advised of booking evening meal in the restaurant, and the times for breakfast. Our twin room, beds and pillows were every comfortable, proper wardrobe. Kettle.tea, coffee, biscuit etc. Staff were extremely helpful and attentive.

Well where do you start Car park plenty of space Reception a lovely welcome and introduction to the hotel Room clean smart comfortable nice bed pillows and sheets Free toiletries Bathroom personally I found small but I am a large chap so probably should have asked Nice bathroom modern looking just little bits like limescale on the shower door handle and a cover missing on the shower door and the shower head leaked not enough to cause a problem but water ended up pooling outside the shower not a show stopper The bar was nice again great staff and reasonably priced drinks The evening meal was fantastic The Sunday carvery is one of the best I’ve had All in all I’m going to be back

Was a very nice experience and the receptionist, Chelsea, upon arrival was very friendly and quite helpful! She added a bit more personality for your normal hotel trip, which was quite refreshing!

A bit ofa gem.

Excellent welcome from cheerful, friendly, helpful staff. We weren't expecting the varied and interesting menu, so were pleased to have the choices we could, and what we chose was excellent. The bed was a bit on the small side, but we knew that when we booked. Breakfast was also very good, with plenty of options. Despite being close to the motorway noise was not a problem. The information on the hotels.com website is wrong - there is a receptionist but not 24 hrs and there is free car parking. A good place to take a break - or for a lunch stop instead of a crowded service area.

Check in and out were excellent, smooth and friendly. The bed was short qnd uncomfortable. Noise from the corridor passed to the rooms easily. There was a gap under the room door. The outside qrea has trucks constantly moving, and we arrived at a traffic jam caused by the local car boot. When we got back to the hotel at 10:20pm we were informed that the bar was closed, despite there being people in the bar and staff available. Could have been so much better, sadly let down.
