I wouldn’t call this a luxury resort. We were most excited about this hotel and were beyond ready to leave. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. However, laundry services for 5 days of clothes cost more than 2 nights stay which is ridiculously expensive. They also lost a tie belt for my pants. The walls were extremely thin where we could hear families and children yelling from the pool while in our room and furniture being constantly rearranged above and around us. We woke up on our second night to the ceiling flooding all over the tile floors. No one was around to fix it so they gave us a key to the room next door to keep sleeping. They didn’t come around until 12 to fix it. They also didn’t clean or replace towels, leaving days of towels in the bin in the room. The shower had mold surrounding the tiles. The bed wasn’t that comfortable and I woke up with back pain every morning. The jets to the private plunge pool for our room didn’t work. So instead we went to the main pool-which is gorgeous but they don’t skim or clean it, so it was filled with dirt, bugs and leaves. Overall we don’t recommend.
