Goodwood Revival

Good communication from booking. Spotlessly clean bathroom, fresh bed linen. Accomodation at the end of a quiet cul de sac. Wilding, peaceful garden with a gem chuckens for company. Full access to the hot tub and sauna, welcome after a busy day.

Nightmare

Absolutely nothing about this advert was accurate. Outside the front of the house...4 old cars...that you had to sidled past to get to the rear of rhe property. Back garden so overgrown with nettles you couldn't get to the hot tub or sauna without getting stung. Rusty old gym equipment laying around the outside of the room. Look like a derelict house garden outside . An old derelict railway carriage at the end of the garden...a nasty bed inside...supposedly some kind of creepy massage parlour. Yuk. Someone living in a building at the end of the garden. That person...his child...the owner..and 4 random men decided to wander though past our bit and sit outb at the end of the garden...making noise..and staring. On more than 1 occasion. Even took 1 of our garden chairs without asking...not that we wanted to sit out there with all that lot around. There was NO privacy so no one could use the outside area even if we wanted to push through the weeds. It boasted a kitchenette...No hob.....no microwave...no table...no washing up facilities....no coffee supplies...and old kettle on the floor by the door. No WiFi provided. Dividing door to the main house behind..so thin we had to listen to the owner crashing around...cooking...playing music...talking to his mates. No way of US locking the connecting door independantly...so my friend was constantly concerned that any of those men could just enter our room from inside the main house by unlocking their side . Again...no illusion of privacy. We left on Saturday...a day early. We could not stand to spend another moment there. We require a substantial discount to compensate us for the complete failure of this booking to comply with its description in any way. Otherwise I will consider speaking to the authorities to discuss the revenue being passed on from rentals...and the use ofba building in the garden as a residence for someone without permission.
