AC was ok. Phone was reported inoperable and never addressed by staff. TV offering was substandard and wasn't worth using. Pool was clean. Hot tub was covered and not available. Bathroom fixtures were old, but operating. I didn't encounter insects or vermin and generally had clean conditions.

The room was deplorable. Smelled like mildew, was not clean, had roaches, and the beds were uncomfortable and sounded broken when you sat in them.

The first room I was given upon arrival was infested with roaches, and unfortunately, there were no other hotels available that night, so they gave me another room and although after inspecting the room, I didn’t find any roaches. There was mold on the curtains and in the shower and the overall cleanliness of the room was very poor.

Checking clerk was cold and short . The staircase to the second floor was very dirty. Our room did not had a smoke detector. It was removed just the base was still attached on the wall . The room was ok but out dated.

When we first checked in, it took almost 20 minutes as the woman checking us in was inefficient and did not have working equipment. Normally, i would be understanding, however she would look at me like I was stupid often and would speak very slow like I was unable to comprehend what she was explaining. After we finally got our keys, we opened the door to see a broken dresser, wobbly table, creaky bed and a toilet that would take two flushes just to flush. The bed was.covered in stains. I attempted to go wash our clothes after we swam in a cloudy pool and the laundry was broken. I was understanding of that but i would have appreciated a sign before loosing my quarters. While we were attempting to sleep, doors were slammed and people were in the pool all the way til midnight. When we got up, we went to the breakfast to find expired milk, sugarless waffles and no juice nor water. Just frozen sausage sandwiches from walmart and packaged grits were somewhat edible. When we checked out, I was forced to be spoken to like a misbehaving toddler when i was expaining some of my grievances. This was an awful experience.
