This home away from home simply oozes Southern Charm and Hospitality - we are so in love with it! Tucked on a super quiet Lane on the ever-popular East Side of our Island, you’ll feel a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of the real world, yet close to everywhere you want to be. Memorial Park is just steps away, offering two new boat ramps so bring the boat - there's plenty of room in the driveway! In addition to boat ramps, Memorial Park provides a great spot to launch kayaks, fish and crab from the pier, enjoy the playgrounds and sports courts, or do some stargazing! This is also where the Saltwater Cowboys guide the Chincoteague Ponies ashore after the annual Pony Swim!

EVENTIDE is all about the Experience - both inside and outside. The first things you’ll notice as you pull into the driveway are the brand new Screened In Porch and Sundeck which face Fowling Creek. The views are nothing short of incredible. Both levels offer a calm and cool outdoor space where you’ll find an area for simply chillaxing with a glass of wine, enjoying happy hour sunsets, or dining Al-Fresco with a Water View. And in the evening, you’ll love sharing stories of the day’s adventures around the cozy Fire Pit - pure heaven. With Fowling Creek just outside your door, the area is teeming with Wildlife. You’ll be in awe watching Herons, Eagles, and Egrets with your morning coffee.

After a fun-filled day at the Beach, kick back in the Living Area with Flat Screen Streaming TV and Free WiFi. Sink into the comfy furnishings (New Queen Sleeper Sofa!) and enjoy a movie together, or gather at the Pub Table for Game Night! There's even a cozy Electric Fireplace for those chilly off-season stays. And you'll catch glimpses of the Assateague Channel, just across the way.

Mealtime will be a bay breeze in the Well-Stocked Kitchen. With Stainless Appliances, warm Wood Cabinetry, and tons of Countertop space, it’s a Chef’s dream. You'll find plenty of cold storage space and ice making with two refrigerators! There's even a Waffle Maker and Slow Cooker! Dine in the comfort of Central AC, or Al-Fresco on the Screened In Porch facing the Water. There’s even a gas grill and Picnic Area below to enjoy! Not one to cook on Vacation? We’ve got you covered - there are lots of dining options nearby.

Wandering upstairs, grab a Book from the Bookcase on the upper Landing and find a quiet spot for a little “me time”. The whole family will love the selection of Books, Games, Puzzles, and Beach Toys provided. With 2 Bedrooms, a Bunkroom, and 3 Full Baths, EVENTIDE sleeps 10 in comfort and style.

Bedroom 1 is peaceful and serene with colors of coral and sea, a comfy King Bed, plus a Twin Daybed, and en suite bathroom. Looking for a quiet start to your day? Brew some coffee from the comfort of your room and step out onto the spacious Sundeck to enjoy the sights and sounds of Fowling Creek.

Across the hall, you'll find a Brand New Bunkroom created Winter 2025 with a Queen Bed and Pyramid Bunk (Twin over Full). Pass through the Bunkroom to Bedroom 2, dressed in Nautical Navy and Crisp White, offering a Queen Bed. The Bunkroom and Bedroom 2 share an adjacent Full Bath and unobstructed views of the Assateague Lighthouse - Catch its rhymic flashes each night!

So, after a good night’s sleep, what shall you do next? Of course Assateague National Seashore, where our Wild Ponies roam free, is only 5 minutes away, but you may never even want to leave Eventide once you see “Below Deck”!

The Owners of EVENTIDE have created a fun and welcoming space under the home. You’ll find not one, but two Outdoor Showers, so no one will ever have to wait their turn! Under the house is also a Tiki Ring Toss Game, Picnic Area, Cornhole, and of course, the Fire Pit. Inside, there’s a cool Tiki Vibe with a Smart TV and lots of room to just hang out. The whole family will have a blast playing Foosball, and Ping Pong on the New Game Table!

Well-behaved dog allowed and at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. Dogs must be reported prior to arrival - 2 MAX. Must be current on all vaccinations and on flea/tick preventative.

Chincoteague affords many festivals and events throughout the year, and EVENTIDE is open to guests Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. No matter the time of year, this warm and welcoming home is waiting to help you make memories you’ll treasure forever!
