We were given a room on the first floor. The room was dated and in need of redecoration. There was audibly loud music until nearly midnight, and then music from the restaurant at 7am, so we didn't even get 8 hours of peace and quiet when we wanted to sleep. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The only good thing about this hotel was the friendly staff.
We stayed 2 nights in a ground floor garden room which was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with a selection of choices. Would definitely stay again.
Booked twin. Room was a double bed. But they did find a twin room. Would I stay again I donât think so. They were busy and they were helpful. Room was a really good size. They just seemed under the pump
Mickleton has a very place in my heart as its where my grandmother was born and raised and where she met my grandad. They are both laid to rest together in the cemetery up the road. This was my 2nd visit here and i came alone. But i loved staying at this hotel, i felt very welcome and safe being there. I felt really comfortable and all the staff were very attentive. I would highly recommend your hotel and will definetly be staying here again on my next visit which i hope wont be very long. Thank you.
Room 9 needs a re-furb especially including some new carpet. Gives a poor, off-putting first impression. The food offer is however excellent and a clever idea especially bearing in mind one has to travel several miles to find an alternative food choice. Reception and bar staff all extremely pleasant and courteous.
We went to the Pudding Club-
Atmosphere was friendly and was the host was funny, got every one involved. The tasting of desserts were good fun and sitting on a large table enabled us to meet new people.
Breakfast was lovely.
The hotel looks a little tired but it is clean and the staff are friendly and welcoming
Lovely hotel in Cotswolds , holds a special place as this was our wedding venue 14 years ago.
There has been some changes and like many businesses since the pandemic seem like times are harder.
Food was excellent, shame as only one other table with diners , so Resturant lacked atmosphere.
Room was comfortable but could do with some updating.
Conveniently located for our needs. Took a small room (#40) which was ok except for the bed which was a tight fit for two and tended to slope towards the middle.
Lovely friendly staff who made us welcome. Good size rooms with pleasant decoration. Quiet at night.
Good base for visiting the Cotswolds
Would definitely visit again
Old Cotswold stone main building (with 1970âs extension) with recently updated bar/restaurant area. Lovely and helpful staff members who made my stay as a single person comfortable. Bar/dining area with a fire and good range of drinks/food.
