Some of the furniture items fell short of our expectations:Torn couch covering, Broken springs in second couch (unusable). Broken dining room chair. No plug for the bathroom sink. No working lights over the breakfast bar.No additional linen for a three night stay.The bed was very comfortable however.

Great location close to town and park was the highlight , worked great for an inner city concert and a couple of nights.. However quite a bit of traffic noise and looked a bit knocked around , tv channels couldn’t access, bit pricey relative to other places we have stayed .

Handy haven by Hagley

Very well presented and comfortable. Great locality: brunch at Strawberry Fare, relaxing in Hagley Park, short walk to Merivale Mall. Packet of Oreos a little treat on arrival.

Comfortable apartment

We had 5 nights in Christchurch and stayed at this apartment. The apartment was comfortable and clean (except the patio and oven). I alerted the management team that the patio needed cleaning. They were happy to attend to this during our stay. I felt it was unnecessary to do so. I neglected though to mention the state of oven. We like apartments that are very close to the city and close to supermarkets and shops. I found this apartment a little further away from the city than we usually like. That being the case, we worked out the bus system and the bus stopped very close by. There was a supermarket about 20 minutes walk away. We loved Christchurch. Beautiful city and wonderful people.

The property was ideally located and comfortable. The balcony needed a clean as it looked like it hadn't been done for a while. Also should have been advised about potential building work next door as being woken at 7am with builders on a saturday was a bit much. Would rebook if visiting the city again.

Nearby Haglay Park for everyday walking and excellent shopping mall for groceries.

Best of all, it's close to the wonderful Hagley Park, and you'll be greeted with the sounds of birds in the morning. You can enjoy city life very close to the city cent in 30 minutes on foot. There is a dishwasher and a washer/dryer in the room, which is very convenient. The kitchen and living room are also clean.
