Lylo for one night

Room was very clean. Bed very comfortable. TV worked great but showed channels no longer operating. Only negative was a missing toilet roll holder. Checkin & checkout very easy.

The hotel was excellent! It was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, staff were very friendly. There is a lift and the hotel is big. I stayed in a private room with bathroom and really liked it. The only negative thing is the noisy around the hotel. I kept walking up, had very poor sleep, but on the good side it took me only 15 min to be at the international terminal.

Absolutely not

As you walk in, the place looks modern and like it would be clean. We had a private room with an ensuite, and thankfully only stayed 1 night. The room smelt awful and stale, and it just wasn’t very clean. You have to wear your shoes/socks on the carpet. The bed was very uncomfortable, and there was hair in the bathroom (even some stuck on the wall above the door frame). We stayed there for the night before our flight, but honestly it was so crap.

Easy walk to airport. Nice facility. Don't expect pod to have any soundproofing. Unfortunately I had the noisey snorer sleep shouter in the same room so didn't sleep. Luck of the draw.

Good basic airport stay

Great location within 10 minute walk to airport. Lots of restaurants and a grocery store near by. Close to bus stop into Christchurch. Basic, small rooms but clean. Helpful staff.

I rented a pod in a room that had eight pods in it. So I knew what I was getting into. But I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the kitchen and recreation area was. It was really big and clean.

Loved our stay here! Private room was spacious and TV was a really nice addition! Super close to the airport, only an 7 minute walk! Easy bus into the city centre but not really an option to walk into the city.

2 night stay in Christchurch

For a hostel is tremendous value. Right near the airport and supermarkets, near bus stoo for trips into thr city. Best short term stay for early airport flights. Pods itself is standard hostel fare, not much room but it does have a privacy curtain which is good. Showers can get wet on the floor, so bring flip flops and multiple towels
