The room feels luxurious. It was clean and tidy. Although the room had a coffee machine, they did not provide any coffee pods. There was no hot water, had to take a quick cold shower. It's located near the San Diego Trolley, which is convenient and 20mins from Tijuana. It was a good stay, just beware there is not hot water or coffee in the room.

The service was excellent! Housekeeping made sure to come by every day, even on days we dis-occupied the room late. All staff we ran into were friendly and welcoming. The only downside to this hotel is that there is no mini fridge in the room

I recently stayed for 2 nights. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Only an hour or so after entering our room, we discovered a roach on the wall. This was not only unsettling but completely unacceptable for any hotel, especially one that claims to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for guests. When we brought this to the attention of the front desk, we were told that they could not offer a refund to allow us to find alternative accommodations. However, they did agree to move us to a different room. While we appreciated the room change, it did little to make up for the initial unpleasant experience. A situation like this is not something I would expect from a hotel of this caliber. Cleanliness and hygiene are non-negotiable for any guest, and I feel that this incident reflects poorly on the hotel’s standards. Although the staff did provide a room change, the lack of willingness to offer any compensation or a refund left a bad impression. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve the cleanliness and overall quality of the rooms, as this experience has certainly made me hesitant to consider staying here again.

Good room. Good value

The hotel is a very nice play to stay and a value at that too. Rooms are nice with good bed and pillows. Has what you need and rhe bathroom is a good size. They also serve breakfast and it is very decent. I would recommend this place of you are in the area. There is some dast food plaxes and shops close by.

Let start out with there was NO microwave or fridge. So for a family trip. This was a super inconvenience. The rooms were a bit old… definitely needed some deep cleaning in the corners on the carpet. The grout in the shower looks like it needed some tough cleaning… but as far as the beds and all the other furniture, the maids did an excellent job! The location was perfect easy access to the freeway. Perfect restaurants in surrounding areas… if I was in my mid 20’s early 30s with no kids. This would be the perfect spot.

The staff here was truly wonderful! They were attentive, helpful, and professional. However the room was so small, the bed took up most of the space. The pillows flattened out and you can HEAR EVERYTHING with the buildings paper thin walls. There's shutters on the window, but no curtains so it was very bright, and just uncomfortable all around.

Good Location

Always a great trip. The staff is always helpful and kind. The area is perfect for walking to many restaurants. They continue to keep the rooms in good condition and take care of the property. Very secure. You must enter through the lobby.

Great stay at Hercor Hotel in Chula Vista CA

Check in was super easy and the person who checked us in (Alejandra) was very friendly and accomodating. This was our second stay at Hercor Hotel in the last 3 years and it is always a nice experience. While the rooms are a bit on the small side, they are comfortable and the rooms are quite modern and clean. The bathroom is especially nice as is the buffet breakfast and complimentary water and sparkling wine at the front desk. We will definitely return next year on our annual trip to Cabo San Lucas.
