Charming little place in the heart of old Chur with very friendly staff and excellent food, especially the breakfast. Our room was a bit small, but adequate. We recommend this place.

We stayed at hotel Franziskaner on the way from Zermatt to Tirano via the Glacier express and Bernina express. Chur is a nice quiet town, the hotel greeting was nice and friendly. The rooms were very tidy and we had a nice breakfast before setting off on our travels again. Overall it was a good place to spend the night and reasonably priced.

Very bad customer services. One bathroom for 7 rooms and doesn’t have elevators . We are tourist in take 50 pounds laggage was terrible for me and my parents … rooms very small, not air condition. Its was terrible !

To start, we were arriving a little bit late due to flight delays and the hostess kindly waited past closing time to make sure we got in! She was lovely. The property was clean and quaint. Cozy little room with two twin beds and a sink, all we needed. Shared bathrooms for the entire floor wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. We loved that the restaurant was downstairs with breakfast included. The hotel was in the heart of old town so we barely left that area! So cute to explore all the little shops and restaurants around there.

It's a very old building in Old Town, not far from the train station. Everyone there was very kind but when we checked in but only the top floor room was available (5 stories and no elevator). The stairway was dark and although I'm in pretty good shape it was a real struggle to get our two suitcases up there. My 80 year old mother had a real hard time but she made it! The shared bathroom was clean and right down the hall, but upon check-in I was told that our shower was 4 floors down .....why?? Even though we were hot, sweaty and exhausted we skipped the showers and tried to sleep. There was one window (with no screen) in the room but no cross breeze unless we left the front door open which we didn't feel safe doing after dark. The room was clean but hot, humid and stuffy and live music was playing in the courtyard until at least midnight even with earplugs in it was pretty loud. Luckily we only stayed one night between trains, I knew it wasn't a posh place but it was a bit more rustic and challenging than I bargained for. Everyone working there was very nice and kind it's just a very old cramped building.

Our room was on 4/F. There are many steps required to reach our room. As we have large and heavy luggages, the staff there were so kind to help us take the luggage up and down. We really appreciate their kindness. The breakfast was excellent, great varieties!

Staff was awesome! Rooms were nice. Our only complaint, there were no outlets in the bathroom. But there were plenty of outlets in the room. Breakfast was yummy and service was great!

The room is ok. Bed does not have the headboard. Light in bathroom is dimmy. I did not recognize this hotel has no elevator, the the receptionist helped me to carry the suitcase up. Location is good, 1-2 minutes to the bus station. Bus line 10, 11, 12 run frequently. Just 1-2 stops away from the train station.

There is not elevator and my room was in the third floor. The bed was too small and th sheets did not look very clean. It has a shared bathroom. The staff was wery kind and it is close to.the train station.

We arrived late and in the rain. Were made to feel very welcome and nothing was a problem. My heavy bag was able to be stored downstairs and I took only my overnight bag upstairs (no lift). Very convenient to train station. Restaurant atmosphere was fun and food great. Staff are amazing.
