This vacation home is 8.4 mi (21-min drive) away from the Cincinnati, OH (LUK-Cincinnati Municipal - Lunken Field) airport, the closest popular airport to the property.
We enjoyed our stay at "The Cincinnati Charm" - it was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. It's an older home, so it has its quirks, but it was comfortable enough. The beds were a little soft for our taste, and the stairs are a little steep (just need to take care when going up/down). Unfortunately it was still too cold for us to enjoy the patio. Very spacious, and the kitchen seemed to be well stocked.
The house is in a very nice location, in a quiet neighborhood 7-10 minutes away from very many places, and the host was welcoming and willing to answer any questions i had.
The entrance was 12 stairs to many but then after entering the house had more stair to climb. Only one Tv in the house. The home was equipped with clean sheets and towels and beds and that was our biggest concern . No complaints
Great place fir the value. The family went to Ark Encounter, wake Nation, Freedom Center, and Cincinnati Museum as different day trips from this house. Bare bones accommodations, but it is all we needed.
To be fair, my expectations were probably higher than they should have been. Upon arrival, there were a couple of cop cars on the road at another residence, so that made me feel uneasy about the neighborhood but at the same time, comfortable knowing that they responded to whatever situation was happening. The storm door was wide open when we pulled in and wouldn't close, though they were willing to fix it immediately if we felt it was necessary.
The property was nice. It was pretty much exactly as described in the listing. The only reason we couldnât give it 5 stars were there were a few things weâve become accustomed to being available at rentals (games, hairdryer, furniture to unpack into, extra blanket for the chilly nights) that werenât available. But the property was more than adequate for our needs.
Overall we had a good stay.
There were a few items that i feel would have made cooking at the house a bit easier. There were no sharp knives, pizza cutter, scissors, or containers to keep leftovers/cut up fruit available. Everything else was sufficient.
The toilets and sinks are very slow to drain, just fyi.
The beds were ok but not something i would want to sleep in for more than a couple nights. A small dresser in the bedrooms would have been very helpful so we didnt have to live out of the suitcases or stavk everything on the desk that was in the room.
Neighborhood was very quiet and calm since it is on a dead end road.
We had a problem with the locks during our stay and they were very quick to get them fixed.

The property was in a nice residential area on a dead-end street with available street parking. The driveway was very narrow. The updated kitchen was nice but lacked spices and knives for food prep. We made do. There also were very few baking pans/dishes. We had to cook our salmon on a cast iron pizza pan and then cook pizza on it the next day.
Plenty of towels, bathrooms were nice. Stairs up to the house were challenging with luggage as were the stairs to the upstairs. Narrow and steep with the last step on both a little more so.
There wasnât a way to watch live tv but the smart television had several apps loaded and wifi was available.
We were not in the house all that much as we were working from 7:00am to as late as 10:00pm.
I will recommend using a bath mat in the upstairs shower as the tub was very slick.
Very nice clean home, very cozy with beautiful furniture, check in process went very smoothly. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!! I highly recommend this home for anyone staying in Cincinnati.
