I booked a king room. At checkin i was told there were no kings available. Got switched to a 1 queen room for the same rate. I will not be back here and probably wont use expedia ever again also! I am furious

It was a place to stay for the night. Not the worst but not good. The place needs an massive update. Staffing could use with proper uniforms. It was hard to tell who was working and who wasn't. The rooms bathroom was dirty. In fact the whole building smelled, all glass windows were smeared and fogged. I felt like I was in an old gym.

It was a jacuzzi room. Tidy but water temperature was terrible used jacuzzi an took 45 minutes to fill water did not stay hot not even Luke warm sadly didn't get to even use it. The shower water temperature was barely Luke warm also.vwouod not book again

Stay away! This place is not clean and smells terrible. We left shortly after checking in because I laid down in the bed and got bit twice on my neck by bugs. When we told front desk the reason for leaving all he had to say was ok. I contacted Expedia for a refund and when they contacted the motel the front desk said i left without giving a reason. This place should be shut down.

Mostly Fine during Groundhog Day Trip

Mostly fine! We knew it was a Motel 6 going in and weren’t thinking it would be luxurious but it definitely could’ve been cleaned better. All hardwood floors and tile require sweeping and mopping which is more strenuous than vacuuming and didn’t seem to have been done. The room was really hard to heat up and was around 65 when we entered. My biggest complaint is that we received a call about a week before our trip that the 2 queen room we booked wasn’t available anymore. We had to downgrade to a single queen which meant I ended up on an air mattress since there weren’t any other rooms available for Groundhog Weekend. Despite this claim that they’d over booked and our room wasn’t available, the hotel really didn’t seem to be very busy. I’m still a bit confused as to how the reservation got mixed up.

They need better cleaning crew, first room was not cleaned so they gave me another room. Clean but lady forgot to remove old used soap, left bottle of cleaner in bathroom. Tub surround was moldy.

AVOID THIS NIGHTMARE

This hotel is horrendous. The lobby smelled of urine. Most likely from the dog behind the counter. The ceiling in my shower was about to fall in (room111). The bed was like I was laying on a bale of hay or something. The tv didn’t show a picture, only sound. The towels smelled like the were washed in fryer grease. AVIOD THIS PLACE. I should’ve just slept in my car and showered at the truck stop.

Mold!

We use to stay at this hotel, just to get away from home. We LOOOVE Cozumels and was so convenient having it attached to the hotel. With these new owners, the hotel has gone to crap. 1st, we arrived late and I contacted the hotel to let them know. Our daughter dislocated her elbow and broke her wrist at her wrestling tournament. When we got to the hotel after getting out of the ER, we asked the hotel for extra pullows so she could keep her arm elevated. They made it seem like it was an inconvenience. There were next to no cars in the parking lot, so must not be many guests. But we were told that they werent sure if they had extra pillows. Lol. 2nd, We had black mold in our room. Theres a leak from the room above ours, the ceiling was soggy and mold all over it and all over the wall in the hall. Like i said, we looooved this hotel, it was never this bad before. Guess we will be finding a different hotel to get away from home.
