There was a lot of left over hair in the shower, had to have management come clean it personally. Hair in the bedding we had to pull off. Other than tjat was clean, comfortable, and amazing. Breakfast was lacking a bit but was still satisfying.
Excellent all areas! Check in, housekeeping, comfort, cleanliness, location near sites and train, viewâŠand the surprise continental breakfast surpassed usual chains. Highly recommend
There is a gorgeous view when you are in the lobby that looks out to the other side out of the building into the desert. Anytime of the day looking out into this view is breathtaking. I canât imagine how this would look in the winter. The accommodations are great.
Brand new. Beautiful inside. Rooms are very spacious and clean.
My only complaint is the breakfast was not good. There was only one young girl manning the continental breakfast and was overwhelmed and wasnât able keep enough food out.
There no vending machines on site either.
Staying at the Taawaki inn was the best decision I made for my weekend. The place was so clean and up to date. The staff were very friendly and they even had an inclusive breakfast and coffee in the morning. I would highly recommend staying here.
The place was perfect. Only 1.5 miles from Cottonwood, quiet, clean and the lady at the front desk was so kind. Will stay here every time I visit from now on.
Beautiful, fresh and bright new property. Seemingly In the middle of nowhere, ClarkdaleâŠ13 min to Jerome, 5 min to Cottonwood, so great spot to launch from. Quiet, and comfortable with nice views. Would be even better if there were a restaurant/bar on or walking distance of the property. Will stay again:)
Loved every moment. Beautiful, peaceful, quiet location but convenient to Cottonwood/Clarkdale old town shops/restaurants, Jerome, Dead Horse State Park, and just next door to Tuzigoot National Monument. Highly recommend.
This hotel was designed with a Hopi esthetic. It is nicely situated with a lovely view of the desert landscape. The interior design is tastefully done with tribal symbols and art work. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you are planning to be in the Jerome/Clarkdale/Cottonwood area of Arizona, I definitely recommend this place to stay.
We were excited for our stay based on the 9.6+ out of 10 reviews, but were disappointed in how quiet and boring it was.
There was water at front desk, but none in the room. There is no bar, no food outside of breakfast, not even ice or vending machine.
If you already have everything you need with you and you just want peace and quiet, this will be perfect for you.
We drove to Jerome and went to eat there-wished we had stayed in Jerome for the views and walkable options.
The place is beautiful -very minimalistic. We did not eat breakfast but it was offered for addtl fee starting at 7am. Could not even get coffee before 7a except in room.
Went to Pepeâs in Cottonwood for breakfast and it was outstanding.
Thought Taakai was overpriced too and no view of the Verde River as stated. Clarkdale has a great Mexican restaurant but thats about it.
Again if you want pure silence with a nice big room in the middle of nowhere, this is the place for you.
