WELCOME TO ICING ON THE CAKE IN SUNCADIA
"Icing on the Cake" is located in the heart of Suncadia Resort, just a short walk from the award winning Prospector Golf Course clubhouse and the Stovehouse restaurant. Just out the backdoor is the Suncadia trail that will lead you on a walk or bike ride through the scenic resort and its many kid friendly parks. This luxury home features four bedrooms including 2 Master Suites, and 3.5 bathrooms. Ten guests can sleep comfortably on beds.

This well-designed home features a comfortable great room with a fantastic outdoor living space complete with a private hot tub, and a gas fire pit! The kiddos will love playing in the heated garage game room which also features a Ping Pong Table. The whole family will enjoy the free high-speed, WiFi Internet.

The well stocked kitchen features stainless appliances and a large bar for preparing great in-home meals. The dining table seats 6 comfortably, with additional seating at the kitchen bar for 4. Just off the kitchen is the very comfortable living room that boasts a Gas Fireplace, large flat screen TV with YouTube TV and DVD Player! The comfortable furniture is great for relaxing and taking in your favorite TV Program or Movie.

* 1st main floor master suite has a king bed, a flat screen TV and a private en-suite bath with dual sinks and a walk-in shower.
* 1st upper floor bedroom is a master suite which features a king bed, a TV and a private en-suite bath with a walk-in shower.
* 2nd upper floor bedroom has a queen bed, a TV and a jack-n-jill bath that is shared with the bunk room. This bath has a walk-in shower.
* 3rd upper floor bedroom has two twin/twin bunk beds and shares the jack-n-jill bathroom with the queen guest bedroom.
* The main floor features a 1/2 bath.

The house was perfect for our family—well setup and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and ping pong table. The kitchen was fairly well stocked. Only item we couldn’t find was a can opener. Enjoyed being close to the trails, parks and lodge. The smores at the lodge were a treat.

House is nice and as pictured. Rental folks were responsive when we let them know a couple of things were broken when we arrived and the couch on the patio was so dirty and covered in bird poop, you couldn't sit on it. If you like it cooler than 70 degrees on 80 days, they don't allow the AC to go below that. The dishwasher was so dirty on the inside, we washed dishes by hand insread. If you want privacy or not to hear neighbors out partying all night, I recommend you rent a different house. Its closely surrounded by several houses on every side with little to no privacy when sitting on the patio.

This is a lovely home and perfect for a snowy getaway in Suncadia. The house is very well equipped, clean and spacious. It was an excellent home for a game away for 3 couples and kids. Everyone had space for relaxing, playing games both inside and in the garage. Very comfortable.

The home is beautiful. Even had Christmas trees up! Electronics were awesome and easy to use. Home was clean and comfortable. Our only disappointment was that we could not use the Suncadia gym or other amenities. That should be more clear. For the property manager, the can opener doesn’t work.

Contract was troubling

Everything about the property was great. No complaints. But the length of the contract, the damage waiver fee, the warnings about how we could be charged for cleaning or garbage or some other things and some other stuff bothered us. It screamed "we don't trust you even a little and want an iron clad contract that's totally in our favor." I don't bother them for wanting that but it made me nervous. As a result we won't ever rent from this company again. And we are exactly the kinds of renters you want; older and very conscious that this is somebody else's house and respectful of their property.

Family Time

I’m the oldest of our group (the grandma) and I slept on one of the bunk beds and I did good. Loved the hot tub. Loved the fire pit. Really awesome. Kitchen was stocked really well. Loved the big park.

Wonderful Long Weekend in Suncadia

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in Suncadia at Icing on the Cake. The condo comfortably fit eight adults. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and we enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the evenings. Communication with the rental agency wa great and the check in process was easy.

Great House but No Resort Amenities

We found the home to be very clean, well-equipped, comfortable beds (except the bunk beds) and in a nice area. Loved the home itself. The big disappointment was that we booked this home under the misunderstanding that 1) it has a hot tub (it doesn’t) and 2) that we would be able to use Suncadia’s pools and fitness center (you cannot, not even if you pay). I realized it was waaaaay at the bottom of the home description, but it should have been up front as we had many other places to choose from in the area that did have hot ribs on-site, and other amenities a bit more suited for teens. My fault for not reading every line of the description, but as a newbie to Suncadia, it seemed like a given that the community should have access. Had three very bored and bummed out teens as a result. If you have little kids, the garage is a great setup. If you have teens, and want pool access, rent somewhere else.

GREAT place to stay - beautiful home!

We had a GREAT time staying at the property. Loved the extra touch of it being decorated for Christmas. Plenty of room. The Suncadia setting is awesome. Enjoyed our walks in the neighborhood. Only negative thing were uncomfortable beds in the bunk room. We realize they are probably intended for kids (we did not have any kids with us) but because of the sleeping needs in our group one of the adults needed to sleep in the room. Doubling up 2 mattresses helped.

Great get away

Annual get together of friends who were all part of either Jobs Daughters, De Molay or Rainbow that has been happening for over 50 years. Great house to host the group for potluck meals. Parking was tough as the house would hold 10, but we only had 4 people. Only 2 parking places in drive and a ways to find another place to park. IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE TALLER TOILETS so that you do not feel that you are falling into the toilet. Guess that tells our ages!! Would recommend.

Truly the Icing on the Cake

Perfect getaway house; family play room was perfect, we didn’t have to bring any toys and our kids were entertained the entire time. Each room had a bathroom attached, very clean and comfy, felt like home. Loved the holiday decor. :) Responsive and friendly as well as informative, great people to rent from.

Great Place for our Family

This is a beautiful home. The property description is spot on. It had all the kitchen basics. Things I should have thought of when we shopped before were napkins, sandwich baggies, foil and cooking spray otherwise everything was provided. The garage set up for children play made it so much fun for our granddaughter and we didn't have to plan to take a bunch of toys with us. The location is perfect, close to the pathways, parks, winery and lodge. The scenery around the area is picture perfect. Will definitely come back! :)
