Room could have been much cleaner from the mold/old food in the fridge to the room smelling odd and unpleasant. The shower was gross with the collection of water as the shower was not draining. The lady up front checking us in was very nice and personable!

The first room I was assigned was slightly dirty. However, when I talked to the person at the front desk (Chelsea), she changed my room without hesitation and provided a better option that suited me. Chelsea was absolutely so professional and friendly. She truly made my stay pleasant and comfortable. I would definitely book this hotel again. The customer service is what truly made me enjoy my experience.

Don't stay here.

I am writing this review on behalf of my son and daughter-in-law for whom I purchased the hotel room.This hotel was so bad that my son and his wife left in the middle of the night and went to the Wyndham Hotel in Avon which was wonderful. In the Westlake Wyndham, however, the bed was horrible, sagging in the middle. The air conditioning did not work , so the room smelled musty and dirty. I wish that I had read the reviews before choosing this hotel. I just figured, "It's a Wyndham so it'll be fine." How wrong I was!!

Well, I only stayed here for one night since I’m on a road trip across the US. Price-wise, the hotel is okay, but it seems like they don’t really care about guest comfort. It feels very unsuitable for the hospitality industry because the AC is extremely loud and kept me from sleeping well. If this isn’t fixed soon, I don’t think the place offers much value.

I checked in around 9:00 pm on a Wednesday after a long day of travel. I was assigned a room on the 3rd floor that required several hallways that were mismarked. The hotel signs did NOT correctly guide you to that part of the hotel! When I finally figured out where the room was located, I arrived at a room with the door open. The room was completely disorganized with everything thrown on the beds. It was clearly not cleaned. I went back to the front desk. The desk person was not there. I had to wait over 10 minutes for her to return. This time she gave me a room on the 5th floor. The room was warm so I located the thermostat. There was no light on the thermostat, it was not working. I tried to call the desk several times both from the room phone and my personal phone. Nobody answered! I had to handle business for about an hour so dealt with a warm room. About an hour later and after several attempts trying to make the thermostat respond, it finally did! This is a poorly run hotel!

We got to the hotel 1 and 1/2 hour after check in time and still had to wait almost 30 minutes for our room to be ready. Also, could not connect to the WIFI. Called down to the front desk and he said they would reset "something", but that did not work. I took my table down to the front desk and tried to sign in there and it still did not work. Told the clerk that and he said he called maintenance and then just walked away.
