The lady at the desk when we checked in was beyond rude. We were a total inconvenience when we checked in I asked for a corkscrew and she said she didn’t have one in the hotel does not have one that they could let us use.Unacceptable!!

The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly … the original hardwood floors in our room were beautiful and the original elevators added a unique touch to our stay.. had a great night sleep between the comfortable bed and the quiet of our room… we will definitely stay here again

I do not typically write negative reviews but in this case I feel that a warning is in order. This property is absolutely awful. Filthy, old, run-down and just plain ugly. I expect much better, even from a budget chain like Holiday Inn Express. If you want to stay in downtown Cleveland, try the Residence Inn or virtually anyplace else nearby.

Beautiful area very clean and walkable although there was an event accross the street that had base going so loud it made the windows vibrate so it isn’t the quietest area. Great for a stay but pricey.

Hotel was a bit weird seeing it was converted to a hotel after it was a bank for quite some time. No testaurant, bar, swimming pool and such.

This hotel could have gotten a higher rating but the hotel was severely understaffed! First the good: our room was huge and clean. now the not so good: the pop-up drain in the bathroom didn't work properly. I was able to work around this so that's why I gave it a "not so good". Breakfast was about what you'd expect of a Holiday Inn Express. Not great and not terrible...just adequate, although the staff there was very nice. Also under the not so good category, the check in was fine but the 1 staff person wasn't very helpful about restaurants in the area of directions how to get to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Fortunately, the morning staff member was much better and was able to give us very clear easy directions. Check out was an abomination! It took 30 minutes to get an elevator from the 8th floor. Several guests actually walked down the stairs lugging their suitcases. Unfortunately, that was not an option for my wife and I as we had too many suitcases. Once we finally got downstairs it took 45 minutes for the valet to get our car because much like the number of working elevators there was only 1 valet. This was awful and we felt sorry for the young lady. With the exception of her getting all the tips, I'd be looking for another job. No one was happy about the wait.

I wouldn’t recommend. The people were nice and there is a lot to do in the area. But the accommodations were below average - bare, not cheerful, run down.

The area is within walking distance to the Hall of Fame. We were in super late but a lot of items walking distance. The Hotel is very clean. There was only plug in between lamp, by coffee pot area & across room. I’d need more outlets to use bring extension cord for bed area. Big TV.

Beautiful hotel with lots of character. Nice, big spacious room, but air conditioner is very loud when it turns on and off. Made it tough for a good night sleep.
