Great property

The check in was a bit frustrating because we were on time but the room was not ready for another 90 minutes and even then it wasn't so I had to take 2 queen beds instead of a king which was fine. My husband waited in the valet lane for 90 minutes also. Apparently there was a country singer concert later that evening and everyone was checking in at once. Unfortunately the valet guys were disorganized so that did not make the process go any smoother. Once we were checked in, though, everything was great. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean and I had the best spinach omelet I have ever had from the headliner restaurant.

Great Staff, Outdated Hotel, and a Valet Nightmare

I recently stayed at Hotel Indigo Cleveland Downtown and had a mixed experience. First, I want to commend the staff—they were friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. Every interaction felt warm and welcoming, which made a big difference. That said, the hotel itself could use some updating. The decor and amenities felt a bit tired, and while everything was clean and functional, it lacked the modern touch you’d expect from a downtown property. The real disappointment, however, was the valet service. Upon checkout, it took an entire hour for them to retrieve my car. There was no communication, no apology, and absolutely no sense of urgency. Watching staff casually stroll around while guests waited was frustrating and unacceptable. It left a sour note on what could have been a much more pleasant departure. If you’re staying here, enjoy the hospitality—but be prepared to make alternate plans for parking.

Downtown hotel in Cleveland

Nice little hotel. Close to Progressive field and Rocket Fieldhouse. Also can walk to Huntington Bank field. Room is nice and has been updated.

Great pick

Very comfortable bed. The AC unit was kind of annoying, very loud turning on and off throughout the night waking me up. Very convenient location to walk to Rocket Arena, many restaurants and short drive to the RRHF. We would not hesitate at all to stay there again for sure.

Did not stay. Wanted a room for the 15 of course everything is online no real person some how it switched to the 14th and I did not catch it till I received and email later stating it was for the 14 th. When I tried to call and correct you cannot get a hold of anyone and the online says it's to late to cancel. Great job of taking people's hard earned money for nothing.

This hotel feels like it is slept on in downtown Cleveland and really is a great find! Right across the street from Rocket Arena, and a 5 minute walk to East 4th. The nearby dining options are great. Room was clean, comfortable bed, and lots of space to store items away in the room. The Keurig with a variety of pods to choose from was a nice touch. Shower is great for tall people - the shower head is mounted at about 7 feet and has a handheld, which is unheard of in hotel properties. Will absolutely stay again.

The interior of the property was immaculate! Our room was clean and exceptionally comfortable. Parking is tricky here. It took nearly an hour for us to get our vehicle out of valet. This was no fault of the valet attendants. They did their best. I would have appreciated more information about parking options, especially because the hotel is located near major entertainment venues. The street and municipal parking rules varied due to special events; something unfamiliar out of towners wouldn’t know.
