Spacious Creek-side Home in the Woods near Wineries, Helen and Dahlonega

Nestled in a wooded area located between Dahlonega and Helen, the family-sized home sits on a 1.2 acre wooded lot with two decks overlooking the woods containing a trout stream running year-round. The 4-bed / 4.5-bath, mountain vacation home with 2 bonus rooms with beds, comfortably sleeps 10 across three floors. Five pillow-topped queen beds, single over full bunk bed and an additional single bed provides your group comfortable sleep.

A large, fully equipped kitchen and island as well as the grill under the outdoor gazebo lets you create your favorite dishes for the largest family. You can also relax on a large deck overlooking the woods while listening to the babbling trout stream below or in the 6-person hot tub below. The kids can hang out downstairs playing pool, or foosball. Each bedroom and living room has a 4K smart TV and high speed fiber internet Wi-fi access, so everyone can watch something different. If you are adventurous, try exploring the north Georgia Mountains or panning for gold in the Trout Stream.

The home is a short drive from all the shopping, fun, and events in Alpine Helen. Within a short drive are rivers, waterfalls, Brasstown Bald (highest peak in Georgia), recreation areas, and Dahlonega, the historical gold mining town. Additional area activities include:

The kitchen is beautiful and very well stocked. There was even a steamer in the closet to steam clothes. We were going to a wedding so that came in handy. The basement was fun with the pool table, foosball table and such great board games. The only negative thing I have to say is the showerheads need to be replaced?

Great stay! I would highly recommend. We stayed here for a wedding we had at Kaya. It was a quick ride over and there are taxi services available if you need a ride. Very spacious and lots of bathrooms

It was convenient to Cleveland, Dahlonega and Blue Ridge. There was plenty of space for everyone and the kids really enjoyed the game room. We all enjoyed a fire at the fire pit. The kitchen was amazing with everything we needed. The brook behind the house was beautiful and you can hear it when sitting in the screened porch.

Kitchen well equipped, plenty of space. Host is very good to work with. Close to wineries and restaurants. We used the fire pit after a day of checking out a couple of wineries. Went down to the stream behind the house, very nice there. The deck and screen porch very inviting.

We loved our stay at this peaceful creek-side retreat! The home was spotless, spacious, and perfect for our family. There was plenty of room to gather without feeling crowded, and the kids enjoyed the game room and exploring the stream out back. Relaxing on the porch while listening to the water was incredibly calming. Great location—close to Helen, Dahlonega, and outdoor activities. Absolutely Serene.

This was our first extended family vacation of 10 ppl. This house has a wonderful location and is beautiful. Three levels of rooms, extra large kitchen, huge dining room table, and spacious layout so you don't feel like you're on top of eachother. This area is beautiful and full of wineries and outside adventures. Commuication was punctual. Gaining access to the house was a breeze. The AC is cold and the place is clean. I will say the beds are very firm (if you like squishy beds they aren't for you) and the pillows are minimal/flat, so you might want to bring your own pillows. Overall, this place was excellent. You will not regret staying here!!! It's the type of place that makes you look for housing and jobs while you're sitting on the back porch listening to the stream.

Loved the cabin!

This cabin is beautiful! The kitchen is gorgeous - so much space. Comfy living room area, great dining table that easily fits a large family. It may seem silly, but the first thing that made me so happy was that there are full-length mirrors in each of the bedrooms! Very thoughtful!The creek in the backyard is really nice, a fun area to spend some time exploring. The neighborhood is very quiet. We saw lots of deer, even in the from yard.We were in town for my daughter’s wedding. We were very central to many places. I will definitely try to stay here again next time I’m in the area.

Great time

We loved our stay here! There was a ton of space for everyone to do what they wanted. The creek is a bit of a trek down so my elderly parents couldn’t make it but my kids spent hours there everyday playing and fishing. Highly recommend staying here!

The kitchen was excellent, well stocked. The only complaint we had was the mattress in the upstairs bedroom without a closet is too soft and sinks in the middle, needs to be replaced. Water shut off while showering, but came back up after about 10 minutes & wifi signal weak. Had to add water to Hot Tub. Water level 4 inches below jets when we arrived! Kitchen was well stocked, pots, pans, dishes etc. Great location for local wineries.
