Very safe with high security and they take your temperature before entering the building. The casino is large and all restrooms are very clean. Great range of restaurants and they have a buffet! The rooms are very clean and are decorated very nice.

Room Not Ready until late

When we checked in, the guest service would not honor the agreement to give my brother an accessible room, which they called ahead of time to request. She finally gave in and honored the request. The room for my husband and I was not quite ready, so we went back an hour later and still not ready. We didn't get into our room until 5:00 pm and we had dinner reservations at 6:00 pm. We had dinner at the Vintage Steakhouse which was very good, but the service was even better. Our server was awesome!!!

The casino itself is extremely smoky as usual. The big negative was having to show ID every time one goes to their room. We waited in line many times as each guest must show ID, and if everyone in your family didn’t show ID’s at the front desk, then they’re not going up to a room. Front desk should know to ask everyone staying to show ID’s when checking in. This would solve the lines to get past security and on an elevator. Ridiculous!

I really enjoyed my time at this casino. The room is pretty big and spacious. I like the fact that the bathroom also had a little vanity area and the make up remover wipes was a plus since I had forgotten mine! I loved all the valet guys they were so helpful in helping us bring up and take down our luggage! The front desk was so helpful and friendly especially the Italian gal who checked me in I believe her name was Michelle. This casino has indoor outdoor pool a variety of foods loved the steak house and a huge casino area to play. They give you a shirt gift and free play plus the gas at their gas station was cheap. The Hispanic guy in rewards club was so helpful they also have a Dj on Saturdays! Will definitely be coming back again!

This hotel is located not too far from Yosemite National Park, about a 45-minute drive to the Mariposa Grove area. If rooms in Oakhurst are too expensive or there aren’t many available, this could be an alternative option. Of course, many people may come to this hotel for gambling. But in terms of accommodation, the main issues with this hotel are: 1. It’s a little bit dated. 2. The Wi-Fi speed is extremely slow. We stayed on the third floor, and I’m not sure if the floor had anything to do with it, or if the Wi-Fi is just bad on every floor. 3. The gym is not open 24 hours. Even though the security guard told us—after checking with his manager—that the gym is open 24 hours, when we got to the gym door, it was firmly locked. 4. Lastly, there was a lamp in the room (probably a desk lamp) with a very counterintuitive design. We never figured out how to turn it on.

The casino is a dump. The main bar area has little to no seating. The ventilation is minimal so plan on smelling like a cigarette. While i appteciate security, this place is over the top annoying. Additionally, the security requires your temperature to be verified before entering. Is this still 2020?

We stayed for the room, not for casino. The room was spacious enough. Staff were nice. Several restaurant choices. Gift shop had some varsity of blankets, hats, some swim suites, jewelry etc and snacks and drinks. The hotel checks your temperature at the entrance, inside your purse, and then ID when you go to the elevator to your room. It may be excessive but traveling with just me and my daughter, I felt safe having eyes.
