Super easy check-in. The hosts responded super fast when the water filter system was constantly beeping. They hey had a handyman out that day. Unfortunately they had to turn off the system to stop the beeping. Other than that minor inconvenience, the property was perfect for our 1st annual cousin reunion. We had six families and a few singles and the house was roomy and well appointed. Everything you could need is there. Highly recommend! Would definitely stay here again!!

Great multi-family destination

We were five families with teens. It was a perfect place for us. The large game room was where the teens stayed (bring air mattresses!). The pool was perfect for cooling off in hot weather -- and for getting the teens to get off their screens and out into the sun. The hot tub was great for when things cooled off in the evening. The owners are VERY responsive to any issues that come up -- running low on TP, propane, etc. The main floor is not wheelchair accessible (the downstairs is), but even that is something that the owners seem open to working on.

Fantastic Fun

This review should have been put up as soon as we were back home. Black Oak Manor is a wonderful abode to create memories with family or friends. We were here with 3 other families and their kids. From adults to kids as young as 2y enjoyed being here. The home itself is spacious, very clean and well maintained. The Host has been very thoughtful and gone above board to make this place welcoming. From the popcorn and s'mores to bathroom amenities and pool toys everything is made available for fun and leisure. The game room has something for everyone and very very entertaining. The host was so prompt with all the communication despite my multiple queries and last minute requests. We were at a very convenient location to commute to Bass Lake or Yosemite and could not have asked for a more restful and wonderful place to relax and have fun as well. We look forward to coming back here again in the near future.

Incredible Mountain/ Lake retreat !!

Our Family of 8 thoroughly enjoyed this Amazing property! It had Everything one could want , starting with an amazing Pool & spa, fully stocked kitchen , plenty of rooms, and incredible Game room with pool table with its own AC & Refrig, movie projector.. G-kids didnt want to leave! - lol. We enjoyed nearby Bass Lake but made time to get back to the Pool & spa . With a kind & responsive host , you'll love this place!

Great Stay!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Black Oak Manor. We were impressed by the house and all the thoughtful amenities it had to offer. They provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, and laundry detergent, as well as snacks and ingredients for s'mores! We stayed here for easy access to Yosemite, but it ended up being further than we expected. It's about 40 minutes to the south gate entrance, but it takes another 40 minutes to get to the valley. It is close to Oakhurst (15 minute drive) for a variety of restaurants. Communication was great with the owners. They responded quickly to questions and concerns we had. Overall, it was an excellent stay!

Entertainment Home

We had a wonderful stay in this enormous home. The host was always available to answer all of our questions about the heater, charging station for an electric car, and what to do with excess trash. We traveled with a large group of adults and small children (ages 2-11). The homes layout is great, open concept where the kids can watch TV in the family room and the adults can hang out in the kitchen or dining area. The kitchen was a a winner for me, it had everything we needed and more. It was a nice touch that coffee was available. We brought in all our groceries and condiments. The house has an awesome game room! We enjoyed that a lot. It was raining during our stay, and we were not able to enjoy the outdoors very much. We plan to come back in the summer and take advantage of the scenery and the pool. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The house is not too far from Oakhurst (10-15 minute drive) or to Yosemite National Park.

Amazing property

It's an excellent property for family gathering and suitable for all ages with a lot of things to do in and outdoor. The location is great and close to Yosemite. The owner communication and place readiness are outstanding. Would consider this wonderful property in the future. Highly recommend this property.

Great Family/Friend Weekend

We had an amazing long weekend with 3 other families with kids age 7-9. Kids were fully entertained with the pool, outdoor games, game room (we brought a Nintendo Switch). Adults had it easy with a hot tub, large kitchen, bbq, outdoor dining table, and all the amenities you could want. Hosts were super responsive and check-in/check out was a breeze. We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic spot for a group stay

Our group of parents and teens had a great stay. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub, the extra bedrooms and bathrooms made the stay very comfortable. Kitchen was great for cooking for a group of 16 - and the big dining room table seats 10 easily!
