Stunning Oceanview House with beautiful sunsets! 5 mins to the beach

Sunnyside House is less than a 30-second walk to the Turks & Caicos National Museum. This iconic Grand Turk property is one of the last, fully intact, historical landmarks of the Turks & Caicos capital. An architectural gem, few of which can still be found in mint condition.

It's available at a minimum rental stay of 6 nights.

Sunnyside was built on the island of South Caicos in 1875, only to be dismantled and moved to Grand Turk in the late 1800s. A prime example of Bermuda architecture, the interior still showcases components of historical sailing ships, which were used in its construction, such as the imposing ship's quarter knees.

Fully renovated and refurbished, it features two bedrooms and two baths on the lower level, as well as a large kitchen, modern appliances and hurricane-proof windows. Exterior elements include a good size yard as well as an overground, freshwater cistern.

The Sunnyside House is located on the west side and so it's perfect for that sunset drink sitting out on the front veranda.

If you're a scuba diver or snorkel or simply enjoy humpback whale watching, you are going to love the short boat rides.

The best restaurants, bars, grocery stores and entertainment are all within walking distance from Sunnyside House...5 - 10 walk.

Amazing place and wonderful host

Monica is wonderful arranged to have us picked up at the airport and a brief island tour. Snorkeling off the beach infront of the pier at Sunny side is amazing , location is amazing, . Monica checked I on us gave great advise on where to go eat ect . The sun sets are beautiful!

This cute little cottage had everything we needed. The location was fantastic and ONeil the care taker was even better. He even rememberer my birthday. Monica the home owner is a wonderful communicator and made the process very easy. We loved our stay.

Monica, the home owner, communicated with us before and during our stay to make sure everything went smoothly and as planned. She provided a wealth of information, but the best was her property manager who even met us at the airport and delivered us to her VRBO. His help was invaluable. Perfect island, perfect house house, perfect owner.

Island Time

We loved the history of the house. The location was perfect for easy access to either end of the island. We sat on the veranda each evening in awe of the sunset and night sky. It was amazing. O’Neil picked us up at the airport and checked in on us a couple of times. What a great guy! So helpful! Suggested improvements include hot water in the kitchen and beach gear- lounge chairs and an umbrella and a cooler.

Wonderful location with a lovely home!

The lovely home right on the ocean including beautiful sunsets, was such a treat. It had a central location on the island and made it easy for exploring and getting around to the shops, restaurants, beaches, etc. The house was just as described and very comfortable. The kitchen was furnished with everything we needed, including an electric water kettle, which we loved as tea drinkers. We loved the bag chairs, beach towels and the cooler, we used them every day at the beach! Monica is an excellent communicator which made everything regarding the stay so easy. She quickly answered all of our questions and made good suggestions as well. ONeil was also amazing, picking us up at the airport, after multiple travel issues, but it didn’t end there. He took care of all of our needs for our entire stay. He’s an amazing asset for staying at this property. We would definitely stay at this property again and would highly recommend it to others. Thank you Monica and thank ONeil as well.
