Enjoy private use of 33 acres surrounding a secluded pond near Lake Livingston. From the hilltop porch enjoy the fire pit and view of the valley flowing into the pond. Wander the trails through the woods to the dock, and canoe the pond. We are grateful to be able to share our family getaway with you and hope the memories you make last a lifetime!

An Amazing Family GetawayOur family absolutely loved our stay at the Hilltop Cabin on 33 secluded acres. The privacy was exactly what we were looking for, and the property is truly beautiful. We enjoyed exploring the hiking trails, spending time by the private pond, and just relaxing in the peaceful, quiet surroundings.The cabin itself was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to feel right at home. Amazing Property

This place was amazing. It was just what we needed to get away from city life for a short while. The property and the cabin were gorgeous. Not having wifi and cell signal was a big selling point for us on the property as we wanted an unplugged weekend. The walking trails and the pond was lovely. Overall we had an amazing time and would recommend staying here.

Relaxing, and tranquil retreat

What a relaxing retreat!! From the front porch coffee views, to hiking around the pond and in the deep woods, this property was EXACTLY what my wife & I were looking for. Yoga on the dock. Meditation on the dock, wine sipping on the dock. Priceless!! We will be returning.

Hidden Gem

Never underestimate your surroundings what an awesome place to stay to get away and be secluded right close to the middle of everything and feel like you're a Million Miles Away. So much thought was given and every aspect of the cabin, the acreage and ponds and all the necessities of life provided in this package. Two thumbs up for this one my friend I have it recommended we definitely will be back!

Nice getaway!

It was nice to truly unplug. The cabin was spotless. It had everything you needed to cook means in kitchen or use the bbq grill. We enjoyed exploring the property. It was nice to sit down by the pond. Plenty of board games to keep you entertained. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

We had a delightful stay. The cabin was as clean as could be, the kitchen was the best stocked we've seen at a weekend rental, and the facilities appear to be new or nearly new. There are well-marked trails throughout the 33 acre property, with much to see. We were able to identify 15 birds species from the porch (in October!). The pond is great for meditating or swimming which compensates for not being so good for fishing. There is no WiFi and very weak cell phone access. But we were able to call the owner while there, from the porch. All in all it was a great stay and we are definitely thinking we'll be back.

Amazing Stay!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The cabin was very clean with sleep accommodations for our family of four adults and two small children. The kitchen afforded everything we needed to prepare and cook our meals. The owners have taken great care to ensure visitors have everything they need from kitchen appliances, dishes, utensils, towels, sheets, soaps, etc. The kitchen table was plenty large and around which our family ate meals and played games. The wooded property had marked trails which afforded opportunity for hikes around the pond and beyond and the firepit near the cabin provided a nice evening experience. All in all we had a wonderful, relaxing, stress-free weekend, free of internet, tv, and other electronics, with limited cell service available outside the cabin. We will definitely consider this site in our future plans and will recommend it to friends and family looking for a similar experience.

Sweet retreat!

This property from head to toe was so well thought out. You can tell the hosts have really put a lot of thought and love into every inch! My husband and I wanted to escape the city (San Antonio) and this was the perfect place! I’m so thankful this family has opened their home for us to rent and enjoy! The house was spotless (I even jokingly looked for dust… no luck!) tons of bedding, board games, a guitar, etc! Ok so I loved cooking here! I was so impressed with the amount of kitchen utensils, boards and gadgets. It was like when I’d think dang I should have brought (…) it was like boom they had it available to us! The details are all there! The porch was our favorite spot! It looks down through the woods and it’s stunning! Lots of birds, so if bird watching/listening is your thing this is a great place to visit. Breakfast on the porch is a must! Overall we enjoyed every min there, and hope to return again sooner than later!
