Located in Colico, right on Lake Como (Lago di Como), Villa Archi is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful lake and mountains of the province of Lecco. It is located in the center of Colico, easily accessible from the train station (Milan-Lecco-Tirano line), as well as along the SS 36 highway towards Sondrio (Piona exit). The modern villa has a living room, a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and can accommodate 8 people. Additional amenities of the child-friendly accommodation include Wi-Fi (suitable for video calls), SAT-TV and a children's high chair. In the basement there is a laundry room with washing machine, ironing board, iron and a clothes horse.

The highlight of the property is the private outdoor area, consisting of a garden, a covered terrace with comfortable seating and lounge chairs, and a balcony. Prepare delicious meals on the barbecue to enjoy with your loved ones.

From the villa you can reach the main services in a 5-minute walk, including grocery stores, bars, cafes and restaurants, as well as the marina with boat towing service and the landing stage of the Lake Como navigation. You can rent boats, canoes, bicycles and e-bikes and explore the area by water or land. One kilometer away is the starting point (kilometer 0) of the Valtellina Trail, which connects Lake Como with Bormio in about 120 km and passes through the entire magnificent Valtellina Valley. The main attractions of the lake such as Varenna, Bellagio, Menaggio with their famous residences (Villa Cipressi, Villa Carlotta, Villa Melzi, Villa Balbianello FAI) as well as the beautiful villages in the center of the lake are easily reachable by car, train, hydrofoil and boat. On the beaches of the village there are windsurfing and kitesurfing schools. Directly from the villa you can hike on various CAI (Italian Alpine Club) trails that lead in a short time to the slopes of Monte Legnone to the top. During the winter season you can reach the ski slopes of Madesimo in about 40 minutes by car, St. Moritz in about 2 hours by car, Chiesa Valmalenco - Alpe Palù in about 1 hour by car. For the lovers of ski mountaineering there are several routes of different length and difficulty in the area. For the lovers of climbing, the famous Val di Mello, home of the climbers and nickname of the small Yosemite of Lombardy, is just a little more than 15 km away. Not to be forgotten is also the nearby Valtellina Valley with its Eroica vineyards, the many wine cellars, the wine route and, in autumn, the countless festivals with the possibility of tasting regional products.
