Communication was great, and the place was very clean. We weren't aware the home was a carriage house. This fact wasn't included in the description or photos. It ended up working out for us despite our expectation that it was a single-family home. Our only complaint was the Wi-Fi was insufficient for a large group that the home is intended for. We all had to turn off Wi-Fi on our phones and the tv still continued buffering during family movie night. We would also recommend dishcloths in the kitchen. Overall, it was very quiet, comfortable and a great stay.

Stayed here for our first USAFA parents weekend with our C4C (freshman). The townhouse was perfect for our needs! Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space (our cadet got the entire basement to himself) and enough for us to play games together at the table. It took about 45 minutes to get to Arnold Hall at USAFA (driveway to parking lot), less than 15 to get to COS, and maybe 20-25 for Garden of the Gods. There is a King's Sooper about 10 minutes away for any groceries and I-25 is maybe 12-15 minutes away.Communication was easy and responses were very prompt! The area around is being developed and it was easy to get to I-25, coffee shops, gas stations, etc. Perhaps the best part was being able to use the garage! That was a pleasant surprise as we haven't always been granted garage access at previous homes.The only drawback is there is no outdoor sitting/eating space. This wasn't a huge deal but if you're looking for somewhere to hang out outside, you won't find it here. Everything else as great though!
