🔒 Security: The neighborhood is generally considered very safe, but we do have exterior security cameras on Peak View to protect the premises.

🛀 Hot Tub: We frequently drain and refill our shared hot tub to ensure it's clean and sanitary for all our guests! Our water comes from the Rocky Mountains at very cold temperatures in the winter—sometimes as low as 48°. The hot tub heats at about 6° per hour, reaching 102° later in the evening if drained and refilled earlier in the day. You may see the temperature in the 60s or 70s when you arrive, but rest assured it is heating as fast as possible and will be ready for enjoyment later in the evening.

It was good.

You're staying in a converted garage - door is still there, with railings. I would advise (if you are traveling with 'advised capacity of 4') to think elsewhere. Once the couch is splayed out to accommodate the 2 others, it's very tight space-wise. Very clean. Awesome communication. Quiet area. LOVED the hot-tub (we climbed the incline before checking in and it was well received respite). Parking (as mentioned w/others) was a challenge in our SUV - be careful of the storage box on the right). Follow the directions to get to the spot - we just mapped it and it took us to the main residence, which is incorrect. Great coffee setup. AC was questionable but opening up the doors helped cool things down. Great communication overall. Appreciate the abode.

Quaint and beautiful view

Had a great week relaxing and getting refreshed here at Lil Lux. The view of the mountains was beautiful and the hot tub really rejuvenated the muscles. It was very clean and provided many supplies to make for a comfortable stay. Very close to Garden of the Gods and hiking there along with being close to old town. Thanks for the hospitality!

Enjoyable space in a convenient location

Great location close to Pikes Peak and Manitou Incline. Well equipped for an enjoyable stay. Host very responsive and addressed questions immediately. View of the mountains and the incline were pretty cool. There is also a direct view of the back of the house which is connected via the backyard.

Can’t wait to come back!

Perfect
That word pretty much sums up this place. I wanted a spot close to the Garden of the Gods, and this did not disappoint. It was small and compact, but at the same time very homey and comfortable. Nice clean modern decor. Great accommodations provided as well. And the communication with the owners was amazing! And the air conditioning was a nice touch for being in Colorado :) I can’t wait to come back again!

This tiny converted garage to apt home was perfect for us. Big kitchen, big bed, big shower. Easy check in and felt safe in the area. Cameras well placed. And so close to the places we wanted to visit. Loved our stay here.

A cute and creative rental conversion. We had everything one needs and was nice and quiet. It did feel a bit like “staying over” since was next too the owner’s house so we didnt feel quite comfortable using the hot-tub but all-in-all was good.

Perfect Place for a Couple to stay

The location is great - a very short distance to the Garden of the Gods and to all the fun eateries and shops in CS. The best part is the view of the mountains! I loved waking up and that view being right out the sliding glass door window. I just loved that it was a converted garage. Cutely decorated and had all the amenities. We didn't do any cooking while there but it was a perfect set up for it. Loved the King Sized bed (hubby is 6'4")! After two days of hiking, the hot tub felt amazing. We didn't need anything but the owner stayed in contact which was nice. This place is perfect for a couple or 2 people to stay. I think any more and it would have been a little crowded! But overall we loved it!

The space was very clean. It had a full functioning kitchen. The converted garage aesthetic was really cool. We were no more than 20 minutes from all the spots we wanted to see. When we were back at the VRBO, we enjoyed the hot tub (really easy to use).

We adored our time at the Peakview Little Lux. It was perfect for our family of 3 (parents and 5yo) and the views were even more stunning than the photos. Great location, attentive host and it had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!

Get away

Enjoyed staying in this cleverly converted garage to a tiny apartment. Enjoyed the view of the mountains and our own hot tub just outside. The renters communicated frequently and quickly and were open to any suggestions we had. The kitchen has everything u need with a few personal items like oil, spices, coffee and snacks. We were there to see our son’s team play against the Air Force Academy and we enjoyed visiting neighborhoods, hiking and shopping from our little home away from home.

Our very first vacation

We decided to go out on a whim and go on a trip. I found this little house and let me tell you, it is so adorable, so welcoming, just absolutely great. Hot tub was amazing. House was clean and very well managed. Definitely will book again!

A great stay!

We had an amazing time at this property! It was close to everything like shops, restaurants, attractions, etc. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for something small/cozy/convenient! The only downfall was our wifi was very intermittent and we had to reach out to the owner multiple times to get it to work but they were very responsive very quickly which was very appreciated! This house had everything we needed from cooking to cleaning and our bathroom needs!

Little Alleyway Flat

This property is located right in the alley and is a converted one car garage. Anyone staying here should note that parking an suv or truck will be very difficult. We had a rental and it fit in the driveway but was difficult to maneuver in and out of the parking pad. The finishes are chic and well planned. The shower was a definite plus. We had trouble with the AC and without any kind of visitors binder or manual we couldn’t quite get it to work. While the property manager was responsive it became clear quickly she wasn’t familiar with the property or area. As a single woman I wouldn’t feel comfortable staying here. In the evening it became clear that neighbors and other locals were dumping their garbage in the garbage cans and small dumpster kept in the driveway. It was too close for comfort. Property has beautiful views and is great if you want to be in Colorado Springs.

Location was centrally located. Finding the road the first time was a little tricky but once we figured it out it was easy. We saw deer on the road to the house. Cute place for a couples weekend.
