Tidy and newly remodeled house, clean and no pets indoors. Comfortable beds along with the soft cotton bedding sheets. beautiful back yard (fenced yard for pets outdoor only). Quiet neighborhood and in a great location. close to I-25 and Chapel Hill Mall, restaurants. Grocerys, HD, Lowe’s, playground, parks/trails, biking trails along the creek, Close to UCCS, Air Force Academy, COSTCO, whole foods, trader Jose, Natural Grocery....Nice walking trail by creek.,

Thanksgiving Gathering Place

This was a great house for our extended family gathering. While not clear in the listing, the two living room areas were a great bonus for our group. The owner/manager was very responsive with the minor issues we encountered and the kitchen was well stocked with tableware and cooking equipment. Thanks for sharing your space!

Co Springs Getaway

The location was good for our family, easy access to freeway and activities. The house, while not updated, was very clean. The owner replied promptly questions. They were also receptive to suggestions in regard to updates that we felt need to be made in order to make the property more comfortable for guests.

Not near Garden of the Gods

We went to Colorado Springs for a family wedding. All adults. This house is in a family neighborhood. I chose it because it has 4 bedrooms and two baths. The beds were comfortable and the house is a few miles from our family. There's a hot tub but is is locked and has to be rented separately which was not revealed on the listing. If we had wanted more than comfortable beds, this listing would not be our choice again. There are unfriendly signs in the house and the weeds growing up through the deck is not welcoming either. I wouldn't recommend this listing

Colorado Springs in June

The house was convenient located. All the touristy stuff we did was no more than 30 away. The place was clean. It does have a water cooler instead of an air conditioner, but it did fine keeping the house cool. We also liked that the bedrooms either had ceiling fans or had a box fan to use.

Beware

BEWARE!!! Stayed from Thanksgiving day till this Sunday 11/28. It was advertised that they have cable/satellite TV. Upon arrival & trying to turn on the TV to watch football while we get settled in, we discovered there is no cable. Reach out to the owner who says that the cable will not be on until Sunday, 11/28, the day we are scheduled to leave. We then spent 2-3 hours trying to create an account to login to some Sling TV after which when we finally get access to only to discover that there is a 2 hour delay on shows on this channel. The next morning we hear a knock at the door and it’s the Internet company coming to upgrade the owners Internet service. We we’re heading out for my sons college football game so we were not comfortable with leaving anyone in the property and the technician did not want to be there without anyone being present either. The owner calls to ask if we will be there so that he can come in to upgrade the Internet. No! Saturday morning he shows up again to upgrade the Internet. We now allow him access to the property modem which is in one of the bedrooms upstairs to upgrade the Internet. Then on Sunday morning at 9am DIRECTV shows up to install DIRECTV. Another inconvenience.A few days before arriving to the property we asked the owner if we could get a late check out on Sunday so that we could watch football with my son and hang out as our flight was not until the afternoon. We were informed that we could stay in the property as long as it’s not rented out for Monday. She would contact us if it was rented. Well Sunday morning about 930am we get a message that the place is rented so we need to leave. When we inquired about compensation for the inconvenience, we were directed to contact VRBO regarding our concerns. After spending the entire weekend dealing with the Internet, cable guy, And multiple calls from the owner, we had a little time to even enjoy the activities for which we visited Colorado Springs. Never an offer from the owner for a partial refund or any other type of compensation for the major inconvenience. Oh and upon entering the place, there was a sign asking you to take off your shoes inside. I don’t know if this place is under new ownership or what is going on, but our experience did not align with the other reviews. The furnishings were very old and outdated and uncomfortable couches in the family room. Clean place, comfortable beds but other than that this was not a great place.

Convenient location

The property is exactly what is advertised. It was clean and location easy to access many things . It is located in a family friendly neighborhood . There are 4 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 living areas with nice washer and dryer. Communication with owner easy and no issues with stay . Very good house for the price , size of home and location .

Close to campus and bonus walking/biking trail

The property worked out great for our family, close to UCCS campus and many restaurants and shopping. We really enjoyed the morning walk along the creek to Starbucks, only about 15 min walk away. Good water pressure and a tall shower. Kitchen had everything we needed. Quality internet connection as well!!

This property worked well for us in many ways but, most of all for being so close to the Cottonwood Bike path. Owners were friendly! We especially enjoyed the fresh Swiss Chard ;)
