Enjoy the Bird Nest in Beautiful Nashville, Brown County, Indiana.

The Bird Nest is the (Guest House) of a recently built custom private home (House Phoenix). Located on 15 private wooded acres backing up to Yellowwood State Forest, in beautiful Brown County, Indiana.
Multiple marked hiking trails are reachable within a couple miles or explore the private property. The town of Nashville, with its quaint shops and variety of restaurants, is only 4 miles away. Enjoy the recently updated interior with internet speeds up to a gig. Watch a movie on the 50" flat screen, or enjoy a book out in the hammock. During chillier times or inclement weather, lounge in front of the fireplace.

Barbeque on the rear deck or sit around the fire pit, all the wood needed included.

Wood is available for free to guests for the fire pit. During or after inclement weather owner can supply dry wood, if desired.

There is an indoor gas fireplace. Directions for use are in cabin. If one needs help starting or restarting call or text me. Extra gas for grill.

Such a cozy place right in the forest. Very spacious with 2 nice bedrooms with sinks and a bath/shower/toilet in between. Front porch and back deck were perfect for relaxing and listening to critters walking in the woods. Beautiful and relaxing.

My friends of four ladies enjoyed the location and the beauty of nature with hummingbirds fluttering, birds singing and squirrels frolicking within the trees. The hosts were very accommodating and respectful of your privacy. I would definitely stay again.

Short Brown County Trip

The home and property was very clean and cozy. It’s in a location that is peaceful and quiet. The host is generous and communicative, making sure we had what we needed and that our stay was enjoyable. We will book here again if we’re back in the area!

The property's address is 3575 Lanam Ridge Rd, Nashville. about 25 minutes drive from Bloomington and about 2.5 miles off of I-45. This is a beautiful cottage in a wooded area. It's cozy and homey, very spacious, and beautifully decorated. There is narrow road leading to the house. A beautiful place for vacation.

Fantastic get away

This was a perfect get away from the real world for a few days. The Nashville area was great with all of the small shops. We would like to check out the live music nexttrip. The guest house had everything we needed. The location was perfect. Very quiet, cozy & relaxing. Our only suggestion would be to have stronger water pressure in the shower.We will definitely visit this area again.trip trip.

Cozy cottage

Great property for a home base while exploring in Brown County and surrounding areas for a few days. Everything was very clean and neat! The host was very responsive to questions prior to our stay. We also experienced a tornado warning and strong storm during our stay and he reached out to make sure we were okay. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful cottage

My friends and I had an amazing, relaxing, and enjoyable stay at the birdnest. The owner was very quick to respond to any question I had. The cottage was very clean and had everything you needed to stay in and enjoy peace. We will definitely be booking again.

So cute - so comfy!

This stay was great -- we stayed here for a short reading retreat. We had the fireplace on and music playing the whole time. There was a Roku for any kind of streaming we wanted. Ken was very responsive when or if we needed anything. Definitely bookmarking the the Bird Nest for future stays!

Nice getaway outside of Nashville IN

Guest house property is attached to main house but separated by fence in the back. Nice firepit area and back deck. House is very clean and nice. We didn't use the gas fireplace, but that would be nice when it's cold out. Host even left us snacks - very nice touch. It's a little drive from Nashville / Brown County State Park, but that is nice to be away from the crowds.
