Lake Como Apartment

Our experience was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! Checking was tedious; they sent me multiple links to sign documents and requested a deposit, which was not mentioned during the booking process. As for the apartment, it was terribly hot when we arrived, and only 1 of the 3 fans was working fully. About an hour after check-in, the host unexpectedly appeared with two men. They said they were going to install a fire extinguisher and got into the apartment. They were there for about half an hour, which is not okay. If you have guests, you cannot come and go whenever you want. We asked the host about the high temperature in the apartment, and he said that everything related to the apartment had to be done through the apartment administration. We contacted the administrator, and they stated that it was the host's responsibility, and neither of them took any action to help. The administrative person was rude and dismissive, as if they only cared about the money and had forgotten how to treat a guest. It was a nightmare sleeping on hot summer with just one working fan for the whole place. This place shouldn't be available for the summer if they can't provide AC or good working fans throughout the place. The toiletries were minimal, and the shower was so small that I could barely move, even though I'm short. The only positive aspect of the place was its location near the lake.

Great location - Needs improvement.

Stayed with my husband and two children (young adults) The apartment had no air conditioning, only two fans that barely worked during the hottest season of the year, never mentioned that it did not have a lift & was on third floor, with many steps. Also, our first night the heater in the shower wasn't working as they didn't turn it on before arrival, freezing cold water and didn't get a response on water situation till next day. Although do have to mention people were very nice, place was clean, building was secure, and lady offered to help us bring suitcases up the stairs, location was also amazing!!! A little bit of TLC would make this place much nicer!!

Great hospitality

Stayed in this apartment for 3 nights and was very happy with the unit & the hospitality of our host! A day before our arrival, I messaged asking if there would be any laundry detergent and when we picked up our key we found out that they had gone out of their way to pick us up some. The unit itself was clean, nice, and near the water/many restaurants/shops and attractions in Como. We would absolutely stay here again.
