Great view!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lake is beautiful. Loved the kayaks. The amenities were great, but the cottage still maintained that rustic charm. We were very happy we were able to bring our dog. Check in and out process was very easy. Owner was very responsive and informative. We will definitely stay again.

Fantastic Family Vacation!

This cottage is perfect for a family beach vacation. The beach and shoreline is gradual entry and very shallow - so it was ideal for young kids to explore. The cabin was clean, spacious, and well equipped with everything we needed. The sunsets we saw, nearly every night, were stunning. Overall, this property is excellent for anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation away from the crowds.

This is a nice cabin with a fabulous view. Our only problem was finding the cabin. My GPS wasn't accurate. I ended up sending a message to the host who within 5 minutes called me. With his help we were able to find the cabin within 10 minutes.

Great views on the lake, in the middle of all the action!

I booked this adventure to see and learn about different aspects of U.P. Michigan. I got what i asked for, its pretty well perfectly set between Mackinaw and Escanaba. Plenty of beautiful views and offroading. The cabin was warm, during some chilly days for a Kentuckian who left a state at 80 degrees!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We had a fantastic time at the Beach Cottage with our dog. The cabin itself was gorgeous and had everything we could have possibly needed. It was cold and somewhat rainy for the weekend, but the pellet stove and space heaters made for a couple cozy nights on the couch. Our dog loved exploring the backyard and beach area, which was more of a marsh given the rain. There was plenty of firewood for a fire if we’d chosen to use the outdoor fire pit. We’d absolutely stay here again the next time we return to the UP!

Spring Break

This is our second time staying here and again we did not want to leave. For our family of four this place is perfect and Heather is more than gracious as a host. Beautiful winter getaway

Touring frozen waterfalls was an absolute treat! The private backyard was great for our dogs to play and the adults to relax. The cabin is only a short drive from so many beautiful parks, we couldn’t even fit everything into our short stay. We will definitely be back! Thank you Heather!

Late Fall On Lake Michigan

This was our second year staying at this cabin. We really like the views on the lake and the sunsets. The pellet stove is an awesome touch. The cabin overall is very accommodating and has everything we need with all basic provisions and more.

Cozy pet-friendly cottage on Lake Michigan

We and our two dogs enjoyed our 5-day visit to this charming log-style cottage on the Lake Michigan shore. We woke up each morning to a beautiful view and the sunsets were spectacular. Our first few days were cool and rainy outside, but warm & cozy inside with the wood pellet fireplace. The cottage is updated with modern appliances and everything you need to do your own cooking. When we had a glitch with the internet due to a recent power outage, the owners, Patrick & Heather, were very helpful, first trouble-shooting by phone & then arranging for a technician to come the next day. We enjoyed visiting Indian Lake State Park, Kitch-Iti-Kipi Spring, Manistique Boardwalk & historic Nahma, all nearby. Overall, a great stay!
