Wisteria Cottage is close to the beach and is right on the lake front, enjoy all kinds of water sports right on your doorstep. You"ll love this place because of the location and the relaxed tranquil feel that fills you with quiet as soon as you enter the gate. The cottage is ideal for couples, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets - see our pet policy below).

This great little cottage provides a peaceful sanctuary right on the lakefront where Copacabana Beach meets MacMasters Beach. It is one of best kept secrets just 1.5 hours north of Sydney. Just a 100m walk to some of the best surfing beaches on the Central Coast your hardest decision for the day will be whether to surf, swim or kayak.

The simple design of the property has you relaxing from the moment you enter the gate. Wander down the passage to enter the house into a communal dining area that leads straight out to the lake and outdoor entertaining area and BBQ.
The modest kitchen has everything you would require including a coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave and large fridge. The lounge area with the gas fireplace is perfect year round for relaxed conversations or curling up to a movie classic on the TV with built in DVD.

There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (second bathroom in laundry) in this single level cottage. 1 queen bedroom with built in robe, 1 double room and 1 bunk room with 1 set of bunk beds and 1 king single. All bed and bath linen is supplied as well as tea and coffee and bathroom essentials.

Pet Policy: The property is pet friendly (upon prior approval from the owner) and your four legged friend will really feel spoiled. The garden is fully enclosed as well as the courtyard with BBQ and outdoor setting. The beach just 100m away is also off leash dog friendly heading south towards MacMasters Beach. Pets are to be kept off carpeted areas, beds, couches, cushions and other soft furnishings. Additional cleaning fees will apply if pets mark or soil these areas, or leave excessive fur or dirt behind.

As this home is being offered as a short-term rental, we kindly ask our guests to familiarise themselves with the short-term rental code of conduct, in particular part 2.5 which refers to the rights and obligations of the guest. This will help ensure your stay is enjoyed without interruption.

Had a perfect weekend away. Copacabana is the ultimate place to switch off. The property is comfy and clean. It’s well equipped for animals and the enclosed yard was great.

What an amazing location!! Right on the Lagoon, kayaks provided with the house. Short stroll and your on a Dog friendly beach. Only a few minutes walk to the local shops, cafes and surf life saving club. Layout of the house is perfect, with a newly renovated bathroom Front yard is fenced and perfect for dogs, the back yard has an enclosed bbq/patio looking over the Lagoon. No WiFi but it does has a small TV with DVD player. Kitchen is functional but needs a renovation. Access is provided to laundry at rear of bungalow (no bungalow access) with washer/dryer, toilet and shower. This is also where the paddles and life jackets for kayaks are kept. We loved our stay here, even when the weather is bad or windy there is still so much to do. Treat yourself and book a stay!

Instant relaxation

Third stay at wisteria cottage and planning another in a couple of months. The property is exactly as shown. While the front yard to the street is lovely and (unlike most other properties near by) extremely private, the back porch looking out to Cochrane Lagoon is where we spent most of our time. It’s a minute walk to the swim area of the lagoon and a great spot for paddling around. Another 2 minute walk across the beach to Copa beach. The property has everything you need for an easy stay - just be aware that coffee maker is aldi so many pods don’t fit it. The rooms are comfortable (and so is the main bedroom bed). The whole property is fenced (also unlike most local properties ) which is perfect if you are taking your pup or have young kids. Locally you can pick up stuff at the local shop and there are a few good restaurants. There’s a great seafood co-op on the road to Macmasters too. As the title says, for us it’s instant relaxation time and we love it there.

Beautiful house and perfect spot

Such a good get away spot - fantastic with the access at the back, walk from the house past the lagoon to the beach then to the cafe. Dog loved it as well! Even had a nice picnic in the front yard!

Our family - adults, teens and 2 dogs enjoyed our summer stay. Something for everyone with easy access to the lake, beach and dog friendly beach area. Great to be able to use the kayaks. It helped that we had great weather. The house was neat and tidy and met all our needs.

Perfect location. Has everything and more

Cute, perfect location, all the essentials plus more. Unfortunately rained the whole time but still had a great time. So close to the beach we could take advantage of the few hours of almost sunshine we had.
