Perfect for couples who are celebrating an Anniversary, Honeymoon, visiting the Ark Encounter, or just getting away... it’s also suitable for a family with kids... large yard...Large windows with lake views from all but 2 windows. 1st floor Master bedroom (Queen Bed with small en suite) has water views all around, Bedroom #2 -Open loft with 1 full/double bed and 1 twin bed (2nd floor), Bedroom #3 twin bed (2nd floor)...Fully stocked kitchen for your gourmet meals. Gas Grill & Charcoal grill provided as well as table and chairs for outdoor dining... Close proximity to the Ark Encounter In Williamstown, KY, close to Kentucky Horse Park in Georgetown, KY... We stayed here to visit the Ark& Creation Museum. Easy access to the interstate but far enough removed to have a little peace and quiet. The neighborhood is a little sad. But we ALWAY felt safe. Most of the properties are just abandoned camps and that is why it looks so rough. No one to keep them up.

Beautiful house!! We went towards the end of February so we got to utilize the hot tub and we got to fish a couple days. The hot tub was so amazing after long hikes in the red gorge. It was about an hour in a half to get there but well worth it. If you go visit plan to stay all day and you must try red point bbq . Literally the best food we have ever ate. Try the blackened catfish. We went to the arc. Absolutely amazing highly recommend. Plan to stay from opening to close so you have enough time to see everything and bring extra money so you can buy all the cool stuff in their gift shops. There is a small place called nobles right down the road that has really good food . Its a small family runned truck stop. They do smoke inside but the owners are amazing and its worth at least one stop. We ordered in one time off grubhub popeyes . It was actually really good too. Back to the house. It was really spacious. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook dinners. The living room was really comfortable. My husband took a lot of naps on the couch. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of blankets and pillows. The kitchen had two different kind of coffee makers so you can use pods or regular brew. The lake was beautiful. I enjoyed watching it thaw out from being completely frozen to unfrozen in a couple hours. Also walmart delivers to the house pretty quickly. The owners are amazingly nice people. Overall perfect stay. Thankyou so much for sharing your house.

Beautiful, Clean & Amazing Lake View

A quaint & beautiful cottage with gorgeous lake & sunset views. Everything was clean and all of the essentials were covered. The pool was a hit, especially with the kids. Anjanette was kind and communicative. And if you like to fish, this is a great spot for that! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

We had a wonderful time at the property. My grandchildren fished, used the pool and the hot tub. The feel of the home is warm and pleasant. I would definitely recommend this property. We visited the ark and the aquarium.

Expectional to say the least!

We wanted a getaway after the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. The hosts were incredibly accomadating and friendly. Any questions I had she answered in a timely manner, even down to where they got the luscious blankets by the fireside and helpful updates on inclement weather. The neighborhood going in put us on gaurd but opened up to a nice quiet cove with no issues. I suggest supervision with kids under 5 around the barrel stairs. We blocked the stairs and railway at night and our little ones were fine. Definitely best vrbo we've ever had. Private yard was big enough to let the kids play, hot tub was clean. Beautiful clean house, decorated for Christmas with fireplace was a perfect scene for the snow we had.

Location was nice

Good stay for a few days. Had one incident the second night we were there. Two cars pulled into the driveway later in the evening. The talked for 10 minutes or so before I went out to see what was going on. They were at the wrong house. There house was next door but owned by the same person that we rented from. The owner ended up calling to tell us that a housekeeper would be coming to the house we were in to get the key for the house next door. It was right by the hot tub so after all that we were done with the hot tub for the night. Unfortunate situation that put a bit of a damper on our stay. Other than that we were happy with the setting, house and time spent.

Enjoyable stay :)

Had a short weekend stay here with friends. House is very cute with nice back porch over looking a stunning lake. Great above ground pool(although we did not use) and house was clean and felt Homey. Some things that made this not 5 stars (which are pretty much out of owners control) Cons-- the house was a bit dark inside, and the winding staircase going to the loft/ bedroom area was very tight and we didn't even try to get suitcases up there. Another thing is the road/ homes leading to the house were a bit sketchy to say the least. Overall we Enjoyed our stay and the 2 homes at the end of the road were nice next to the rental. If you enjoy being away from any restaurants/hustle and bustle and want just some nice quiet time of kayaking, and porch sitting you'll enjoy it.

Plenty of privacy lots of great amenities a second bathroom would be the only thing but we made it work just fine. Beautiful property well maintained. Would definitely recommend and may visit again myself.

One of our Best Vacations

We made some great memories in this home. It was perfect for our family of 6. The house was very clean and more than inviting when we first walked in. It was where we needed to be to get away and disconnect from the world. The kayaks were great, even for my 6'6" husband and 6'4" teenagers. My daughter lived in the pool! LOL One of our teenagers caught a monster catfish the last night we were there. It ended up being the highlight of our trip!! Could not have asked for a better host, She was phenomenal! Great place and we highly recommend it!!
